  • If you have a transmitter frequency of per say, 1MHz, and a series tuned circuit made of the secondary, tuned to a frequency of 1,000,010 Hz, will the capacitor tuned coil be attracted to the transmitter coil? You see, if the coil is attracted to the transmitter via parallel or series tuned secondary, and the frequency of the reciever is slightly higher, it should be attracted to the transmitted radio wave and not the transmitting coil. Linear space motor.

  • Hi, Thanks for the comment. This is the first I have heard of the ZVS driver. This is interesting because I want to generate high voltage.

    I can compare the following up to 1mHz:

    mono tx / bifilar rcv

    to

    fibilar tx / mono rcv

    There is another video I did to compare this configuration, but was not able to reach the FO using the old Lawton style generator.

  • Hi, I tried this with 3 pairs of coils that are pretty close (within 10's of mH) .

    The Bifilar as the transmitter (or primary) consistently produced a higher voltage at resonance and also resonated at a higher frequency.
