Canadian police officers do not wear badge numbers nor do they display their badge, it is usually on their belt, in their wallet or around their neck. Instead they wear a troop number, in this case they are in riot gear which they are not issued as kit so it changes, you can notice the numbers on the helmet that replace the troop number. I suggest you become a tad bit more educated on the subject of Canadian policing before you judge.

That's how you arrest people, keep in mind police officers deal with some of the hardest criminals in existence, All people ever think they do is give them tickets for driving on the wrong side of the road. Cops have an incredibly hard job and do forgive them if they are a bit strong armed but thats their job. Canadian police officers do not wear badge numbers nor do they display their badge, it is usually on their belt, in their wallet or around their neck. Instead they wear a troop number, in this case they are in riot gear which they are not issued as kit so it changes, you can notice the numbers on the helmet that replace the troop number. I suggest you become a tad bit more educated on the subject of Canadian policing before you judge.

I'm no officer, I'm going into policing once I finish my term with the military. Cover ups happen, ya sure...but it's not the everyday police officer who does that, they're just there because it's their job and the general amount of cops are great people. Where things go down hill are the politics behind all of it. I hate politics and the fact they really don't get whats going on. Don't blame the cop for mistakes made in upper management

That is not the RCMP...it is up to the criminal code for that, if you want that to stop than cops must have more power. They have their hands tied. You know how long it takes to get a search warrent in Canada? About 6 weeks, you know how many pages of write up the officer has to do to get the warrent. About 500 pages. Cops need to eat, their shifts are 12 hours and they get breaks like everyone else

I've never taken anybody by the hair, the arm is much more effective means of controlling those who need to be controlled. Tasers have decreased perp. injury by 85%, Harm to police officer by 80% and decreased lethal force by 76%. I've personally been tasered 8 times, it doesn't hurt(until you fall) it just feels like a really bad cramp. I laughed and walked away right after every time.

@MRSWS338Lupua Lupua, it's pretty sad that you're defending the abuse the cops perpetrated, although since you are training to be a cop it's no surprise. They cannot be excused for the rights they violated and the sickening violence they inflicted. Police are not there to protect the people, they are there to protect the government.
And most of the protesters that were arrested were peaceful. Just because people are chanting doesn't make them violent.

Peaceful protests don't work. As you can see police violate that. If I were there I'd be throwing molotov's and shit. Rioters are too stupid to attack only police. When they get violent they decide to flip civilian cars and brake in store windows not realizing those people are civilians too.
