Ending of season 4 was best of all season.... I love 24 and all season, but stil honestly i think it all should have ended with finale scene of season 4 when Jack walked to sunrise, new beginning ahead of him... but still Jack probably wouldn't have stayed undercover for long like season 5 showed to all of as. Jack wouldn't be Jack, if he weren't there stopping terrorism. That is what he is best at.
Season 4 had the Secretary of Defense's kidnapping, an attempt to override all of the nation's nuclear power plants, an emp detonation in downtown los angeles, the shooting down of Air Force One, and an attempt to destroy Los Angeles with a nuclear warhead, all in one day... yet you say Season 2 is ridiculous. It was just a nuclear bomb threat and a conspiracy afterwards.
(not hating on Season 4 or anything. I enjoyed that season much.)
I don't think they mentioned Keeler because they wanted everyone to focus more on Logan. The assasination (probobly) of Keeler may have been done by Graeme Bauer to get Logan into play for the big season 5 conspiracy.
I never really understood that. Technically, we didn't get any kind of introduction for that president or anything, he was just randomly there. They didn't focus on the president for most of Day 4 like they did in the other ones which annoyed me a little bit, but oh well.
On another note, what happened to him? They never said he died, they said he lived so by the time Day 5 starts, he should have been back as President, not Logan, right?
President Keeler (who you're talking about) was messed up pretty bad from I remember. Logan, VP at the time, was sworn in DURING season 4 since Keeler was in no condition to continue as President. Keeler apparently never recovered.
Yeah, but they said after they found him in the plane that he would recover and be read to resume his presidential duties in something like a few months, I think. Since Season 5 takes place a year and a half (18 months) after Season 4, I'm just curious. But eh, I guess you're right and that he never recovered.
In regards to your first point, Keeler was senator running against David Palmer in season 3, and when Palmer pulled out there was obviously no-one else to stand in Keelers way.
Yeah, I'd forgotten all about that. Not long after posting my comment I had started watching Season 3 again, and noticed it was Keeler running against him. I still didn't feel we got a good introduction to Keeler, though -- if anything, I found him to be introduced as a corrupt figure, not fit for the presidency because he blackmailed Palmer to get there.
What are you talking about? It was in the season. Did you miss the whole stealth fighter shooting down the plane episode? It was an indirect hit, thats the explosion behind the plane.
That one scene where air force one is shown to have been hit at the back of the plane is not from the actual season of 24. But from a film called 'Air Force One' with Harrison Ford
It isn't. You just repeated what you said before. Its from 24, I have the DVDs in the house and just watch that bit over again to see if I was wrong, and im not.
its not 24 music at the end... as i heard it the other day on a movie trailer... cant remember what movie but yeh... i wish i knew the name of the song... probably by Immediate Music or something

I dont think this video was as good as Cuba's other ones. Especially the end, it made it seem as though Jack died, but then showed him walking away.
RichyJ91 3 years ago
I'm not replying to complain about your comment but I think Cuba did this to add a more dramatic effect to she video :)

I think its to signify that the "old jack" is dead. Then shown to be moving on with his life.
