  • George bares his soul to us here. What a struggle he has had; what a victory he can claim. Add in "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes" & "No Show Jones" for a great trilogy. Three years ago he received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the Kennedy Center For The Preforming Arts for his contribution to Country Music. It was presented by Laura Bush. Well done George Jones.

  • one of my friends was sining this song the day he killed himself

  • Yes, we all have /had choices!

  • I seriously think that there is just one asshole that goes around to all the best country songs and hits the dislike button, and that someone needs their ass kicked...

  • Don't we all.

  • the one the only ..... geoge jones

  • this is deep!

  • very nice...lyrics with meaning. hard to come by now. :(

  • George Jones: You hear voices? are you schizophrenic? :))

  • Real

  • all i can say george jones is the closet thing to god in my life i love the man iv sen him 9 times live been to his house and i love the man there is none better love you george richard w piatt

  • The old Possum sure knew what songs to record to make you cry, seems like he's looking tru my eyes. I'm gonna miss him when he's gone, but I'll still have his music.

  • I honestly love love love George jones, all his music just makes my happy! <3 He's the best & always will be.

  • One M0:00RE time!

  • prime country

  • This song makes me think about my life...but I think Im starting to realize that the only reason I made the choices I made is bcuz I was the person I was. I cant decide to do what is not in my nature...if I decide to sell out then its bcuz am a sellout. If I do the moral thing than it is bcuz I am a moral man. I dont think we really make choices...we just do what is in our nature.

  • BIGGS PHARMACY 612-284-0333 DAVID WALTERS SISSY SUE PAUL MISTI KRISTI DOTTIE the trumpet. I forged your signature david to go to NC, oh well. Karma bites!!! LOL :-)

  • wonder if kenny chesney even KNOWS this dude!

  • @THEFLYINGREDNECK ....that is a good question

  • @THEFLYINGREDNECK There is videos on here of Kenny Chesney singing George Jones songs.

  • @fenderbender256 weird...then why does kenny chesnut sing all of the crap he does instead of legends like JONES!

  • @THEFLYINGREDNECK Because the kind of music that Kennny chesney sings now sales better than tradional country, and most artists these days care more about the money than they do about the music.

  • @fenderbender256 we still got george strait, ZBB, alan jackson, and the very best...HANK WILLIAMS III!!!!!!! but yea...other artist are full of BS

  • @THEFLYINGREDNECK Take a look at some videos of Bradley Gaskin. He's an up and coming artist that sings real traditional country music.

  • @fenderbender256 YEP! i cant blv i just heard that bradley gaskin guy. ive been living under a rock for the past 14 years haven't i? oh well...loved his music. sounds like conway twitty!

  • @fenderbender256 he sings ONE with or about George...which is hillbilly heaven or honky tonk hell, which is a DAMN good song but thats the only one

  • There,s only one king of country music, and george jones is his name . A true living legend ...go the possum .

  • What has happened to country music now and America for that matter? George has gotten pretty feeble, Conway is gone home and they're crucifying Bocephus now for telling it like it is. Who would have thought it?

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Fuck monday night football if bocephus aint doing it

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE We have got to stand up as a group and quit letting a handfull of liberal people sell our America down the river which is what's happening.

  • @bobcooter1 Thats a tall order when the media is behind the liberals. Even when Obama is defeated next year the bashing of Republicans and Conservatives will continue. We just take it because we are not the kind of people they are and they know and use it to their advantage.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE That's very true. I can't afford to miss work to go protest and that kind of thing.

  • This is a clasic , I love George singing, Thanks

  • This is a special song by George Jones. Since the last bad wreck he had really put a scare in him . He was severely depressed and only wanted to talk to Vestal Goodman, who lead him to the Lord. Praise the Lord! ALL GOLD STARS and Thumbs Up!! Way to go George!!!!! Thank you for sharing. God Bless You, Gwen Weaver
