But think about it, why would they unite as "one nation" (such as USSR) if each of the east european and balkan states had powerful nationalist movements, despite the similarity due to Slav background? The true definition of communism is to have a classless society, with no money and where the labor of the worker was used for common good. Problem is NONE of those regimes ever used people's labor for the common good.
