Sumatran tigers are wicked animals, so agile and so powerful for their size. I think the answer to your question is education. Some Sumatrans probably don't even know what's going on, and others probably don't understand the magnitude of the actions. Others, are probably too poor to be able to do anything. Sad, really (Java and Bali extinct).
