It really boils down to the air force flying them.
I can almost guarantee you, no pilot flying a 2000 against an American F-15 or even F-16 pilot will touch the ground with his wheels, it will be his feet underneath a parachute. Air superiority is their business and they're not in the business to lose.

Only Jaguar, and few super etendard took part, but though no one blew up. Just one Jaguar landed to base with some bullet impact, but that's all. I know that the Armée de l'Air was only authorized to come with Jaguar (mainly from the BA113 Saint-Dizier at the time), but no F2000. USAF gave principally to Armée de l'Air reconnaissance missions.

and one more thing F-15 got most of it's kills during the Gulf War and as far as i know Iraq was also one of Mirage users i wonder what happened to those mirage during that time....

Well i imagine they had trained as intensly as normal actually, i believe the coalition started the war in gulf 1 by knocking out two Key radar stations on the boarder (HARMs maybe?) andthey then proceeded to bomb the shite out of htem.
