You cannot really compare "Spanish" with what Americans see as "Hispanic", which, as far as I can understand is a cultural and ethnical mix of Spanish, Indian and Africanid peoples, correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, Historically, in the second World War, Spain was neutral (In name.), but provided the "Axis" powers with financial support, this due to the Axis powers assisting the nationalists during the civil war.

@kvltdvl666 Mweh, well, if you're interested, it's quite difficult to actually determine "The traditional Spanish" look, as you might know, the original inhabitants of the peninsula were the Iberic Celts, or Celtiberians, then came the Romans, The Goths, The Vandals, then the Fatamid Arabs, then the Moors, the Berbers, so many peoples went through the Iberian peninsula and left their genetic marks on the area.
