To be honest I dont see why people hate ghost so much. It seems like people are just angry because they are killed by someone. Its just another perk and there is nothing OP about it. Why does no one complain about CUAV or cold blooded. Ghost is not bad! people are just looking for an excuse for why they died. I hope people can realize this and understand that its just overused and not overpowered.
@DemonXen just because it takes up 2 perk slots doesn't mean anything in CoD because as soon as you die you can change your class. So first they camp with only the perk that keeps them off radar, but as soon as a killstreak kills them all of a sudden they spawn back in immune to killstreaks as well. Just like ALL explosives, Blind Eye and Assassin have no place in a first person SHOOTER.
I don't think Ghost is a problem at all. I only use the map to see where my team mates are. I have tried to use it to track enemies, but it just distracts me from what's going on right in front of me. Also, I think Chopper Gunner and Dogs are WAY bigger problems than ghost, since they are basically free kills.
@tigran914 actually no im in college and I dont play hardcore or intense but i do know almost all the kids in my university and the ones that play xbox or ps3 sold black ops cause it was horrible. Ive had almost all the cods ill admit i didnt play the first, but i did play 2 and it was amazing, but last stand and ghost ruined cod and thats just my opinon and thats why i commented it first..
Good news or Bad not sure. there are 3 types of killstreaks. Assault, support and specialist. The assault and Specialist killstreaks once you get killed you loose the streaks. Not 100% sure on this so if I am wrong let me know

So many complaints on ghost yet about 65% of the player base used it, only thing I didn't like about it was that it made everyone have a Ghillie suit, so I'm thinking, oh a sniper it should be easy, so i let my gaurd down, then bam they have a Galil or famas with it. And I'm just like raqqfhsawdgts
@LikeForsure1 I think it does...in tier one there is Blind Eye, which is supposed to keep you off of regular and advanced UAV's. And Assassin keeps you from being killed by killstreaks. Or maybe it's the other way around. In any case, I think that this is the case with MW3

@tigran914 actually no im in college and i hav i don't play alot of viddeogames but i play to let off stress and being killed by a ghost kid or someone who was given a second chance is kind of stupid. Im all about you pay 60 bucks do with the game what you want but if ghost pretty much invisibility until blackbird or last stand a literal second chance and with the right weapon a free kill if you are looking at your shooter. I just think these two perks ruined the game that was my first comment..
if people used ghost the way it was meant to be used( flanking the enemy) nobody would complain about it. the only time i use it is when the opponent is spamming UAVs. and i get more incentive to rush the enemy when its up, unlike the majority of ghost users

tip for your accuracy: rather than try to just move your gun around on him, strafe your feet so that your crosshair(or red dot) follows him. basically the best way to do it is to strafe the way your target is moving. if he moves left, you strafe left..etc. it'll come natural after practicing, and then you'll get use to moving your gun slowly as you do it.

@tigran914 how was it balanced? besides the famas and ak74u u seem to have disregarded last stand and ghost yeah they were in MW2 but mw2 had no gun problems besides the UMP45 and even then u really didnt only see the ump on the killfeed i hated black ops and alot of people did its a small number but almost every person in my school resold or only played zombies on black ops and i agree with that i only kept it for zombies and besides me alot of people did the same
I personally don't have a problem with people who use ghost. a lot of people use ghost not for camping, but actually for taking the enemy by surprise in an offensive manner. but then again, i'm one of the people that doesn't have a problem with campers or grenade launchers. it's makes the game more interesting, a head on assault won't work so makes you get a little creative.
The reason that everyone uses ghost is because it doesn't put them at a disadvantage. They can run ghost and still kill people in the same amount of bullets. In mw2, people who ran cold blooded were invisible to uavs and air support, but they were at a disadvantage when it came to gun fights. So they have to bring back stopping power to balance out ghost

I dont personally understand people complaining about stealth perks, or actually I understand that they complsin, but I dont understand the reasons that they put.
Ghost IS Cold Blooded. Word for freaking word. It's been in the game, you're only pissed now because people won't be choosing stopping over it consistently.
To me the people who hate ghost and second chance the most are the killstreak farmers. That's what I call those guys that play "safe" getting cheap kills until they get their infamous dogs and chopper. I've heard guys totally freaking out just cuz they got killed close to getting their ks. Honestly, I think that the whole kill streak thing in Black Ops is worst than ghost and second chance.
I wouldn't say Ghost is overpowered, it just gets overused to the point where it slows down games and encourages camping. It's a wasted perk in my opinion. If your team actually took the time to shoot down spy planes, then you wouldn't need ghost. In MW3, I expect UAVs will be easier to take down (like in MW2), so assassin shouldn't be a problem unless people let it be. Recon also appears to be a counter to Assassin.
People like to camp no matter what, look at the bf3 beta. Where you don't get killstreaks, there will be 2-3 people camping (noobs) in a bush, far away from the objectives.
Recon pro shows bullet damage on the map, even silenced. About the only thing you can do. If you're good enough you won't die that much anyways. It'll just be a shift from knifing/noobtubes to assassin
i just feel sorry because they will remove unlimited sprint.... that was No.1 perk for me on BO and MW2... i just cant stand still on the spot more then 10 secs except when capturing flag...
Assasin does protect you from Advanced UAV, but not offensive killstreaks. Assasin does less than Ghost, but the killstreak protection is in Blind Eye. Which is good, I personally hate killstreaks, I always use the low ones, like Couter-UAV, so taking out the campy stealth shit out of Ghost and making it a single perk WITH additional boosts by the pro version to counter air support is just gold to me.
I personally have nothing against people who use ghost and play the game, however people who use ghost and sit in a dark corner with a silenced gun are the people who make the game boring...

They shouldn't have added the Blackbird killstreak in Black Ops because, even inside buildings and with the sniper costume, you're seen.
If you use the Blind Eye/Assassin combo, you can't ADS quickly, reload quickly, weapon swap quickly, or recover from equipment/grenade usage quickly. Unless you use the Specialist strike package of course :(

Well I don't think killstreaks stack. You can't do anything about campers people will always find a way and an excuse to camp. Although getting a 7 killstreak then having it lead to a nuke which was supposed to be a 25 killstreak then that's bullshit. I know MW3 doesn't have the nuke but you get my point. Killstreak stacking has nothing to do with camping but for the fact you are doing less work. Something that requires a high amount of kills is dramatically lessened because of stacking

I personally don't have a problem with people who use ghost. a lot of people use ghost not for camping, but actually for taking the enemy by surprise in an offensive manner. but then again, i'm one of the people that doesn't have a problem with campers or grenade launchers. it's makes the game more interesting, a head on assault won't work so makes you get a little creative.

The reason that everyone uses ghost is because it doesn't put them at a disadvantage. They can run ghost and still kill people in the same amount of bullets. In mw2, people who ran cold blooded were invisible to uavs and air support, but they were at a disadvantage when it came to gun fights. So they have to bring back stopping power to balance out ghost

Assassin does not make you invisible to advanced UAVs... and i does not keep you hidden from choppers so it is slightly less powerfull than ghost...

To me the people who hate ghost and second chance the most are the killstreak farmers. That's what I call those guys that play "safe" getting cheap kills until they get their infamous dogs and chopper. I've heard guys totally freaking out just cuz they got killed close to getting their ks. Honestly, I think that the whole kill streak thing in Black Ops is worst than ghost and second chance.

I wouldn't say Ghost is overpowered, it just gets overused to the point where it slows down games and encourages camping. It's a wasted perk in my opinion. If your team actually took the time to shoot down spy planes, then you wouldn't need ghost. In MW3, I expect UAVs will be easier to take down (like in MW2), so assassin shouldn't be a problem unless people let it be. Recon also appears to be a counter to Assassin.

People like to camp no matter what, look at the bf3 beta. Where you don't get killstreaks, there will be 2-3 people camping (noobs) in a bush, far away from the objectives.

Recon pro shows bullet damage on the map, even silenced. About the only thing you can do. If you're good enough you won't die that much anyways. It'll just be a shift from knifing/noobtubes to assassin

Assasin does protect you from Advanced UAV, but not offensive killstreaks. Assasin does less than Ghost, but the killstreak protection is in Blind Eye. Which is good, I personally hate killstreaks, I always use the low ones, like Couter-UAV, so taking out the campy stealth shit out of Ghost and making it a single perk WITH additional boosts by the pro version to counter air support is just gold to me.

No, in other words, I'm not a scrub (Google "sirlin scrub") and don't worry about what people whine about. I just play the game the way that makes sense strategically. Sometimes camping makes sense; sometimes it doesn't. But people are sure to cry 100% of the time when you kill them.
In actuality, I don't really even place cod beyond zombies. I prefer competitive games like CS.

They shouldn't have added the Blackbird killstreak in Black Ops because, even inside buildings and with the sniper costume, you're seen.

If you use the Blind Eye/Assassin combo, you can't ADS quickly, reload quickly, weapon swap quickly, or recover from equipment/grenade usage quickly. Unless you use the Specialist strike package of course :(

If you don't have the patience to not be running non-stop then you should deal with the consequences. Campers are gonna camp either way. Also, people are mixing up players using ghost with campers, campers should be easier to play against...think about it. I use ghost for the sole reason of getting to the enemies side of the map, to where they spawn or to an objective.

No matter the guns , the perks , the gameplay , their is ALWAYS gonna be people complaining. ive never heard any one complain against cold blooded in mw2 , but people hate ghost in black ops when its the same perk. people complained about juggernaut in cod4 , commando in mw2 , ghost in black ops , waw i havent played much online so i dont know .They cant please everyone either , but mw3 should be a really good game , and hopefully better than bf3 wich is disapointing so far.

From what I know Assassins weakness is that it does not protect you from Air support or sentries. The perk Blind Eye will do that.

Well I don't think killstreaks stack. You can't do anything about campers people will always find a way and an excuse to camp. Although getting a 7 killstreak then having it lead to a nuke which was supposed to be a 25 killstreak then that's bullshit. I know MW3 doesn't have the nuke but you get my point. Killstreak stacking has nothing to do with camping but for the fact you are doing less work. Something that requires a high amount of kills is dramatically lessened because of stacking
