i have so much respect for this couple. Even though they're poor, they continue to adopt orphans and provide the kids with food, shelter and education. The world needs more people like them.

in reality not many will care for little children like this magnificent couple does. In msia cases of babies thrown, dumped, left to die made the headlines regularly and they aren't sick, most were healthy born out of wedlock, abandoned to avoid social stigma.

i can really feel the love that they have for the children. the issue is not about money, its about the love that the child gets once the state separates them. thats what the gramps are questioning.

i watched the clip of the dying rooms where the little girl is found lying just waiting to die, ever since watching it , I think about her little face every night, I would have taken her and ran out of there, her little face was just begging for mercy, it was sickening how can people do that. the desperation in her little face..heart breaking.

Think of it this way.. Just put yourself in the shoes of these greedy assholes the Chineese government.. who does get a lot of bad media for the way their people and children get treated.. NOW they have something great like the olympics that Makes China look good... Of course they will put all their resourses in that, when they have to give money to take care of Their handicapped children because the govt can't be bothered with it.. well that just makes them look bad. Trying to move the kid with Cerebral Palsy into the 'welfare organisation'? He does need treatment, but more than that- he needs LOVE. Take him away from the Chen Grandparents and what does he have? I am sure the government could be more helpful and understanding, not by splitting up the make shift family, but by supporting them!

Now the authority is trying to cover their ass--but the Grandpa Chen sees through things with his wisdom. He is truly a person of love and compassion, which the authority is never able to give to these children.

it's a shame that the chinese government didn't look after its disabled and abandoned orphans!! it's absolutely absurd!! why don't they use some of the olympic revenues toward the elderly couple!! the chinese gov't shouldn't be taking away the kids 'cause they have no rights...

These are true heroes. It's mind boggling that the Chinese Gov't spent billions on the Olympics, but not a dime went to this couple.

It's great how Grandpa called out the local officials. They are and should be embarrassed that they let an elderly couple show them up.
