@AalexX136 hope you fixed it yet. this is no screen-tearing. screen-tearing is when your fps are so high, that your monitors refresh-rate cant handle it anymore. the screen gets literally seperated into 3-4layers which "flicker" all differently. Not black.
haha that's because you're running anything with the word dell in it. I like their laptops, but some of the components of their computers especially graphics wise is terrible for gaming!
I am not running a Dell. Read the info for the video. The computer was custom built by myself. The only thing that is Dell, is the 30 inch LCD monitor made by Dell, the Dell 3008WFP. Arguably, the best 30" LCD currently on the market.
For me the problem was fixed when turning off SLI. Using nvidias profile for Team Fortress 2 I changed it to anything but SLI and the problem was solved. Luckily I have two 280s so I dont need both of them to run TF2 at maxxed settings on 2560x1600 resolution
The issue was caused by turning on SLI.

i have the problem too, but i dont get the whole screen flickering, its horizontal lines. nvidia shitz hehe
WatchingViking 2 years ago
Horizontal lines is screen tearing v-sync should fix that. otherwise use a d3d overrider
JimmiMcCarthy 2 years ago
@JimmiMcCarthy LOL :-)
Its fixed now. It was an old Nvidia bug in their drivers....they fixed it.
Anyway I am using an ATI 5870 now so....works very well.
WatchingViking 2 years ago
heh i just got a 5850 (i know cheapo :P) i like ati alot more than nvidia now :D
JimmiMcCarthy 2 years ago
Not really drivers fault, if your getting 100fps and your screen refresh rate is 60 your gonna get screen tear until you turn vsync on.
