  • She won her legal case by federal court and got her job back!!!!

  • Diversity respect is only on paper...Unfortunately nobody wanna hear what we have to say, in 2010 and we still suffer discrimination in America, I am black and have a governmental job and not too long ago I was stopped to hang out in a certain break room. The Filipinos employees complained about my presence and the management just went along with it... nobody to complain... nobody wanna hear. My friends co-worker now nick named me "Keep Out"

  • Vandy is as brave as she is articulate and lovely. A truly ideal "spokeswoman" for the ongoing struggle for EQUAL HUMAN (NOT "special", and NOT "trans") rights

Our so-called "community" (think about it) needs about 1000 more like her.

    Thank you, Lambda Legal.

  • This is a supportive comment.

  • Preach on Sister Preach on. Amen

  • I'm so sorry you've had to go through this. Congratulations on speaking up so eloquently.

  • Amen, sister.

  • Very impressive and moving testimony! Thank you so much for having the guts to speak on our behalf! You are a hero Ms. Glenn!

  • *applause*

    wonderful job Vandy. thank you.

  • Powerful testimony and, of course, well-written. Few people could possibly have done better and few would be willing to even try. Bravo and thank you.

  • Powerful testimony. Thank you, Vandy Beth for your courage and determination. We need ENDA, and we need it yesterday.

  • Fantastic speech. Go get 'em, tiger. :-) I never fail to be impressed with your courage and your conviction.

  • very impressive and moving speech! I wish you the best, Vandy Beth!

  • She is brilliant and I posted this to my facebook . She is awesome and the facts are that the majority of us are boring and normal. To fire someone who is doing a good job is an act of hate.

  • im very proud of Vandy Beth.. She did a great job and im lucky to know a woman as brave as she is

  • I personal would like to thank Ms.Glenn for having so much courage to stand up in front of the big government and tell it like it is. Thank you Ms. Glenn you are a true help to all of the TG community.

  • She is a great person and I'm proud of her putting herself out there and working for change.

  • This is the right direction and people who live on boundaries like Ms Glen teach all of us about humility. These are the kind of people we should be lifting up, not tearing down. Shame on the Georgia Legislature for acting in such a cowardly way.

  • So proud to call her my friend. You rock, Vandy Beth.

  • Well said. I hope ENDA is passed, including transgender.

  • An old and admittedly distant friend, who I couldn't be prouder of than watching her here!

Contact your congressmen, make them aware of the importantance of this legislation!!
