No, I don't think so because that would make Buddhism a dead religion and the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama totally forgotten and the belief and doctrine of karma and reincarnation decline. Most devout Buddhists wanted to be a bodhisattva and attain Buddhahood.
It was in Tang Kok, Kampong Thom, where the church built a cross made by the iron from Pol Pot regime. The cross was to remind the soul of all Cambodian Christian died during the regime.
Cambodia deserves a minority like this is it only to bring real piece of mind and in order to undermine all the superstitious beliefs and black magics which are being practised by the Khmer and causes mental illness among many Cambodians. Disagree? Just live in any village of Cambodia and see how black magic is widely practised and causing people to commit crimes and inflict injuries. May God bless Cambodia and this Catholic community thrive.
