@errkerr Heroes 6 has a facebook with concept art it is really cool. There will be no dragons in the game only bosses can be dragons. Also they have alternate upgrades for certain tiers

@speeddeamon90 3 and 4 are both fucking awesome. 4 is just lot different - ranged retalation, spell&ranged attacks blocking, retalation with attack at once etc...I think HOMM4 is much more about skill in battles than HOMM3 was. Not saying HOMM3 was easier, but in HOMM4 you have a lot more possibilities. With heroes being included in battle as targets it is so much more variable, thats why people who like it do like it. You may not, but if you love Heroes, you should look at H4 from another angle

@Kabur111 Yeah man i understand and i do luv heroes but that's why i said i think i not underrated cuz most of the homm fans didn't like it cuz it was different  to me the gameplay was terrible it didn't feel like heroes at all to me,wich is a shame when the soundtracks are so amazing to me the gameplay of the 3 was epic didn't need any changes and that's why i like homm5 cuz it basicly like the 3 but 3D with better graphicks :)

@speeddeamon90 well to me H3 graphics look better than H5 xD and I like H4 gameplay even more than H3, in battles you can nicely show your skills by outplaying your opponent with spells, not like in H3 it was more about who managed to build up bigger army and better artifacts. I understand it may feel different, but just dont spread out bad words about a reeeeally really awesome game :P

Heroes 4 has the best music. Too bad every faction had only one two playable heroes ie: Order had nobility and order magic heroes with different names lol. That and memory leaks and overpowered 2 vampires/day = fail.

homm iv for the longest time, had this gay memory leak which crashed the game after running it for a while. It was obviously an unfinished unreleased and 3do went bankrupt shortly thereafter. (Should've hired an additional developer rather than hiring Kenny G to play music lol) underrated my ass.

That is true, it had a memory leak, but I never ran into a problem with that on my computer before.

Infact I wish I could play it now, but I have Vista on this computer and it is absolutely when it comes to playing certain games. I can't get HOMMIV to run on it without bluescreening my computer.

IV had some other gameplay problems, but I the music and narrative were both top notch. Fun to explore too still like the old ones. All in all it is good game and fairly under-rated.

i got III and II running on a vista machine so not sure why your's would be crashing, do you have add-ons installed that aren't required? check your process tab see if maybe you can eliminate some non-essential OS applications.

Well I have Heroes III complete running (if you were referring to me). But I can't run IV without a blue screen immediately when I load it and Heroes I and II just won't install.

I have a older PC in the basement, but I do kinda want to play Heroes IV again. My PC in the basement though would not be able to run IV, though it could probably run the original and the second.

hear hear! for me it's the only fresh breath in the otherwise stale HOMM formula. some things in it I dont like(no lvling up creatures, no siege equipment, heroes dont have any special abilities to begin with etc.) but otherwise it is a great and original HOMM game. It also has the best music IMO.

Heroes III is the best + the mods, Heroes V is a wannabe Heroes III, only the graphics is better (obviously), and Heroes IV is different, personnally the best is taking the advantages of the IV and put it on the III.... But game is game, companies is companies, and Ubisoft just want money, they don't really care about the story of the game, the story of Heroes 5 is not the same, a new (bad) story... Disneyland style, the ending was too pathetic, I PLAY AND FINISH ALL THE HEROES LOL

I like heroes 4 more than 3... The graphics dont bother me at all... Of curse I was playing days and nights in heroes 3 after release... But now I prefer to play heroes 4 than 5 or 3... Cuz of music and gameplay... I like the point of leaving the city without the hero... just your army... In heroes 5 and 3 you need a hero to release the army from city... and I like the thing that high lvl hero can defeat strong armies alone... without help of army!

It is in fact good, there is more combat, magic and tactical variety. Magic and having multiple heroes in army was very fun, individual abilities and army management was much better.

Despote that HOMM IV look blurred in game. Homm III was like fairy tale with lots of adventures. It was more fun and relaxing.

I love Heroes IV, and 3 is okay too, but the rest of the games suck. This isn't too fine, or new, or too old. And graphics are brilliant. Heroes V is far too simple and modern. And second and first...thet begin to be too ugly for a graphic. But this is the best, and third is okay too :)

Well V I dunno, I guess originally I didn't IV was all that great since it was a big change. It wasn't really until a 1/2 year later, that I got into it because the music and narrative were soo damn good. Heroes V's music and narrative are nowhere near as good and it just seems like a completely different game. Moreso than III to IV.

I love the original and II even if they are primitive, they set the tone for III and I played the hell outta then when they came out.

That's true, absolutely. Do you like IV too? I've born so late, in 1993, that I was so small when these first heroes came out, that III is the only old I like. Don't get me wrong, I play some old NES and SNES-games they're so happy. I also like IV most because you can play with hero and train a hero(it's a great assistance in battles, a single lvl 20 hero can alone beat few Behemoths or else) and it's bigger game(I think so) through, and it's nice difficult. Anyway, everybody has own tastes :)
