Mormon's feed off persecution. They love it. It energizes them. And I have no doubt that Mormon's will take this screeming, yelling, straining your voice as some kind of persecution.
the dude in pink is trying to reach the hellbound ppl of the lds cult but he is only pushing them further into the cult founded on lies. satan is a counterfieter master at deception father of lies and the lds are all enchated with his truth and all reject truth of God very sad very sad
The LDS president is also supplied with a home. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Aug. 27, 1994, p. E1, the president of the LDS Church lives in a "downtown condominium, the official residence of church presidents." In the Salt Lake Tribune, Dec. 8, 1988, we read "The $1.2 million condominium at 40 N. State that is home to the president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be exempt from property taxes, Salt Lake County commissioners ruled Tuesday."
LDS do not believe that God had or has sex with Mary. What a crock. We believe that Mary was a VIRGIN when she conceived Jesus and that it is possible that she had more children after Jesus, with her husband Joseph (not Joseph Smith for all the ignoramuses out there).
While most LDS members will respond, as you have, that doesn't mean the idea or conclusion can't be reached simply by reading what past LDS leaders have said on the subject. Question: Do you believe sex is wrong? I hope not! But it can be wrong under certain conditions (like outside of marriage). Here's another question, does God the Father have a body of flesh and bones? If he does, why couldn't he have taken Mary to be one of his wives (the same way Joseph Smith took other men's wives)?
chriscb: LDS do not believe that God had or has sex with Mary. What a crock. We believe that Mary was a VIRGIN when she conceived Jesus and that it is possible that she had more children after Jesus, with her husband Joseph (not Joseph Smith for all the ignoramuses out there).
p.s. If God wants to be married I guess he will. Marriage is not a sin and if he is married, I will not see him in any different light. He will always be my master. Thanks.
The gates of hell shall never prevail against the LDS church. If that was possible, there wouldn't be 1,000,000 converts to the LDS church every 3 years.
13,000,000 converts in under 200 years
= around 65,000 converts per year
= around 5416 converts per month
= around 180 converts per day
and still the anti mormons work harder and harder, only making our testimonies stronger. If the LDS church ceases to face persecution,we have fallen into an apostasy like everyone else.
We pay our tithing and no one in the church gets paid.We don't have to pay our tithing but it is for God that we do.The money goes for temples, church buildings, the needy, disaster relief and many other wonderful things. If you ever drive by a run down baptist church, you know the preacher is taking all the money and leaving none for repairs on the building. He's paying his bills with it and going out to eat and buying his wife a mercedes.
Wow you clearly have a one eyed track. I don't know about you but the Stake president asked me if I was a FULL tithe payer. Full NOT partial. What does being a FULL tithe payer have to do to enter LDS temples? DO YOU honestly believe that the Church HEADS in Salt LAke City do not receive ant payment from the LDS organization. Most of the self proclaimed apostles and prophet are board members in the many MLM schemes/businesses that the LDS church promote. Monavie is the newest.
No one in the church says you HAVE to pay your tithing, the bible does though. We believe it is a commandment of God and to please God you should give a percentage to his church. We have free will, you don't even have to believe in God.You can believe that life is one big party if you want. The leaders of the church do not get paid but they have jobs outside of the church.Promoting monavie is a good thing,it's supposed to be good for you.
The Old testament talks about giving 10percent. The New testament says to give handily not 10percent. LDS leaders proclaim that you should ALWAYS pay your Tithing, so you can receive blessings. The Bishops and Stake Presidents and other territorial leaders all have JOBS. The Self proclaimed apostles and prophets don't have jobs because they are "Board Members" on many business ventures that the LDS have. Thousands of MLM schemes stash millions of dollars into these men's pockets.
In Hebrews 7 it talks about Abraham giving a "tenth". Ofcourse a tenth and ten percent are the same. Now if you look at it this way. You make $100.00 one week, so you give $1.00 in tithing. Wow, if you think that's alot, what would NOT be alot in your mind? If you look at all these other religions, they say "we can't be perfect so why even try?" or "we want to drink so let's find an excuse to drink,oh,Jesus drank wine,DRINK UP!" These are churches that accomodate the lifestyles of man.
Yes Jesus turned water into Wine. Has any prophet of the LDS faith performed a miracle? So what is your take on apostles and prophets of the LDS faith being on the pay roll of many Boards throughout Utah and other LDS business ventures?
The General Authorities DO get paid. Just because the local bishops don't get paid doesn't mean "no one in the church gets paid." That is a complete lie.
The prophet and apostles are reimbursed for their travel expenses, that's all. They expect no pay for their services to the Lord. They are paid in blessings from the Lord. Ofcourse as old as they are, they're probably retired from their daily jobs. The tabernacle choir pays for their travels out of their own pockets ($2500 per person) and the missionaries pay for their own missions. Not one person gets paid for their callings in the church. Why would I lie?
A liar is someone who knows the truth but chooses to hide it by telling a lie. If you don't know the truth then you are simply misinformed and are spreading a lie (not that you are the author of the lie itself).
This guy is a fucking cocksucker, and all you religious idiots on here are fucking tools. Check out the number of religous cock-gobblers on here saying they know the 'truth'. You can't all be right. In fact, none of you are...
Hey Potty-mouth, your dirty language doesn't make your point that none of us are wrong. If you want good evidence for why Jesus rose from the dead and why God exists and why atheism is hopeless, then spend some time checking out PleaseConvinceMe[dot]com. If you don't care, then continue sticking your head in the sand.
Have seen that commercial of a bankcard in which they ask the question: WHATS IN YOUR WALLET? Take Rob Sivulka's advice, 'cause what comes out of your wallet won't pay the bills. There are two sides in any debates, so if you want to get in, exercise God's given freedom, and pick one...and stay away from pornographies.
O future Heavenly Omnipotent and worshipful god-in-training leSavaii: stay away from the porn of the LDS god who has sex with many women to produce us in a pre-earth. The LDS is so weak He's dependent on women to even become a god for just a part of the universe. This bastardization of Christianity is certainly not from the Bible, and neither is it from pre-Nicea. It's an invention of Joseph Smith with no evidence in its favor.
If the LDS.Church is so weak as you stated: then why am I still standing up to your nonsense? And the LDS.Church is still growing strong as ever. Christians had constantly failed to destroy God's Truth 'cause of their blindness, but God had already promised that His "...kingdom shall never be destroyed...but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms (protestantisms) and it shall stand forever" Ooooops!!! what are you gonna do Robbie? You are on the wrong side of God's pasture.
O future Heavenly all-Holy and worshipful god-in-training leSavaii: "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2 Tim. 3:7). If His Kingdom shall never be destroyed, then why the universal apostasy which required your Restored Church? If it can be broken before, then why not now? But Jesus said the gates of hell would never prevail against it, so Joe lied and you're in a cult.
Here again, youre lacking & this is why Rob: Apostasy has nothing to do with destroying the kingdom of God.This era only came about when the people of God slowly rejected & injected their own doctrines into Gods Truth. What happened, God ceased all His revelations ¬ allowing Himself from talking to man, also Jesus showed John His Kingdom with an angel in the midst of heaven, which will be preached to all men before His Second Comming. He never destroy it, but preserved it 'til the right time.
Looks like you're the one who's never been able to come to the truth because God's truth is to love one another and not pull the stunts that you do. You should be imbarrased. I'm imbarrased for you. You ought to do some more praying, your heart is full of anger and it needs to be softened. Here's how we pray, we open the prayer as "Dear heavenly Father" or "our dear Father in Heaven" then we close in the name of his son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
"The Mormon God is a man"? And what about your God? What I know about the imaginary-God you worship is that, he is so huge that covers the the whole universe & so tiny that he can dwell in your heart? How can Jesus fits in your heart when everyone saw Him with a resurrected-body of flesh & bones accenting into heaven?
Thru out your Holy Book God-the-Son is not God-the-Father. Completely two separate beings.
QUESTION: Again, who do you worship Rob Sivulka? God-the-Father? or God-the-Son?
Jn. 14:23 says that both the Father and the Son live within those who follow them. Even Alma 34:36 says the Lord dwells in our hearts. But D&C 130:3 says this is an old sectarian notion and is false. Again, you don't get that I already said that the Son is not the Father, but they are the only eternally inseparable God I worship. Forget your contradictory scriptures, repent of your cult, and trust the only true God--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jn.14:23 I see how you twist & spin these words. Jesus simply said that 'if you love me keep my commandments'..."and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him" I do believe Jesus is referring to the representation of God-the-Holy Ghost here (who bears witness of the Father & the Son) in this particular phrase as in 1Jn.3:23/Rev.3:20
You are contradicting other trinitarian-street-preachers of who you worship. They all worship God the Son, but was that right path Jesus showed us?
D&C 130:3 is false. The Father & Son live with me, and I've never had a personal appearance of them. The verse says it's false for Father & Son to dwell in the heart, yet Alma 34:36 says the Lord does dwell in the heart, not in a temple. Who is your Lord? My Lord is the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, and I worship all of them as the only God there is. They aren't separate gods, but distinct Persons who make up the only God there is. I don't contradict other trinitarians. Mt. 4:10, 6:24, 28:16-20.
Anytime the writer or we hear/read of the Father & His Son to live/dwell in our hearts doesn't really mean they actually come down from heaven & live in your heart dude...simply refers to the another comforter or the third member of the Godhead(God-the-Holy-Ghost)
Jesus showed his followers to pray to His Father & not to Him, and if you & other street preachers don't understand that, then you are not a christians but trinitarians.
I never said the Father & Son physically come from anywhere to physically live in my heart. You're not answering the questions I asked. Again, who is your Lord in the Alma 34:36 passage who may live in your heart? Jesus never said not to pray to Him. Of course He told His disciples to pray to the Father, but Jesus and His apostles you can also pray to Jesus since He's just as much God is the Father & Spirit are (read!--Jn. 14:14 in Greek or New American Standard says "If you ask Me anything").
You don't obey Jesus when He tells you to honor Him just as you do the Father (Jn. 5:18, 23). Stephen prayed to Jesus (Acts 7:59). Paul tells the Corinthians to call on the name of Jesus (1 Cor. 1:2), and John writes that our confidence is in the Son of God when we ask Him in His name, He hears us (1 Jn. 5:13-5). You're in a cult & not following New Testament Christianity.
Prophets & Apostles are as much humans as we are. They even contradict each other. Good example is the Apostles Paul & the rest of the original Apostles of Christ.
*Acts.7:59. Again, Stephen 1st. called upon God and then in the Name of Jesus.
*1Cor.1:2. Was Paul talking as an Apostle or as a regular human-being trying to intrduce himself to the Corinthians?
*1Jn.5:13-15. Familiarized yourself with Name of Jesus Christ, for He is the Mediator & He stands between you & God the Father.
Except when God speaks through them He preserves His word (Ps. 12:7, Isa. 40:8, Mt. 5:18, Jn. 10:35). There's no interpretation when God speaks and moves through them (2 Pt. 1:20-1). You have to now devalue God's word & make it contradictory instead of seeing how consistent it is. You hate the true God & His word. Acts still has Stephen praying directly to Jesus. Paul's letter to Corinth is the word of God. Jesus is mediator, as a human, but as God, you should pray to Him just like the Father.
I devalued Gods word? meaning, the Holy Bible? It contains some truths, but not all truths, and it all began in Nicea, when Catholic priests decided only which books they like to be included in the Bible & later on they added the word "Holy" to it. So you see, Im only trying to make the best out of some remaining truths in it. Pauls letters are mostly in Pauls own good words of counclings. He was a changed man & used by God as His vessel among the Gentiles that he was well familiar with.
Did you know that one of your founding-fathers (Martin Luther) embraced Paul's letters more & wishing the Epistle of James (Book of James) was not included in your Holy Book? & hated God (Loving God) for punishing the sinners? That is so true with Protestant, Evangelical, Born-again trinitarians, even Catholics.
What path Christ had/has set for us to follow, we must obey & follow. Worship & pray to His Father, not Him, but give all the glories & praises to only one God, our Heavenly Father.
Just 'cause all scripture is inspired and profitable doesn't entail that all is equally profitable. Some is more than others. Luther never denied the inspiration of James. You have more than 1 God, since Jesus is called "the eternal God" on the title page of the Book of Mormon. So is Jesus a false god? You probably won't answer that since you haven't been answering my other questions.
Meet the Sivulkas: Daddy SIVULKA, 1Son SIVULKA & 2Son SIVULKA...What do they have in common? (The name SIVULKA) They have respect for each other, but who will the sons show, give & share their most respects to? (Right! Daddy SIVULKA) WHY???? Thats for ya to answer.
Again, There are three members of the Godhead: GOD the Father / GOD the Son / GOD the Holy Ghost. They function in a ONENESS of thought, destiny & purpose in all good things in life.
But the Bible teaches only 1 true God, who doesn't even know of another formed before Him or after Him (Isa. 43:10, 44:6, 8). You're a polytheist. You have to devalue "God" to be a family name for multiple Gods. The problem is that your Godhead family doesn't always exist as such. There was a time when your Father wasn't the Father until He impregnated a wife. The God of the Bible isn't human (Hosea 11:9); He's always been God--from everlasting to everlasting (Ps. 90:2). You've got a weak god
The Holy Bible says so & what Jesus showed is justifiable and thats what the trinitarians are confused with...THE THREE SEPARATE MEMBERS/BEINGS OF THE GODHEAD. What counts now is what Jesus showed
YUO: "The God of the Bible isn't human" (Hosea 11:9)
*First, a wrong & a misinterpretation of the scripture as street preachers always do.
*Secondly, If your God is not human, then whose image were you created with? A corrilla? You are human, aren't ya?
The Bible never says "separate" and it never says there's more than 1 true God. You confuse an image with a nature. Another FAQ I wrote: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/bible-passages/image-genesis-1-26-27
Why do you listen to the Bible? You should follow, listen & learn from what Jesus is doing & saying. But thats street preaching, all they do is what the Holy Bible says this & the Holy Bible says that. Get off it & let God's Truth sets you free.
How about Gen.3:22...."And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become one of us, to know good and evil..." Not only we were created in God's image but He included us as one of them. Can you figure?
Jesus' apostle said if anyone teaches a different gospel than that which is already been given, then it's to be damned (Gal. 1:6-9). I follow the teaching of the apostles, and you follow a cult that distorts them. As for Gen. 3:22, "one of them" in what sense? It clearly says in knowing good and evil, not that they are all of the same nature. Image yes, nature no! You're simply cherry-picking with the Bible. Are you really expecting your spirit kids to worship you? O most holy Father leSavaii!
You follow the teachings of the Apostles? Again, this is the problem among trinitarians, they forget to listen & follow the one person whose Gospel we preach, Jesus Christ. You need to know, I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, not the Bible nor the Apostles. The Apostles preached only One True Church (The Church of Jesus Christ) and I guess that makes them Mormons, don't you agree?
You just think you follow Jesus, but you have no reason to think so. You just have a delusional burning in your bosom, which you interpret being from God. I believe God has given you a strong delusion so that you'd believe a lie as 2 Thessalonians 2:11 says.
I know God's Truth is starting to get into you: Who we worship / In whose name we must use / Whose message that we must follow, etc...
The only BIG LIE that all Protestants (Trinitarians) is living, was crafted for them by the Catholic bishops in Nicea. They completely changed& confused the way how the Godhead looks & functions in the minds of the innocence. The only main player in the whole Bible (OT/NT) is Jesus Christ "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature"
Even Paul understood how these three members of the Godhead function: Paul is inspired by God-the-Holy-Ghost/Spirit, & Jesus portrays the image of the invisible God.
Don't you ever wonder who this "invisible" God that Jesus (God-the-Son) prays & worships, and even portrays His image is? Does that sound like a lie to you Rob Sivulka? I don't think so, but just is that you are on the wrong side of the fence.
O future Heavenly Father god-in-training leSavaii: That same passage in Colossians 1 says that, whether in heaven or earth, Christ created everything. He created your spirit, Lucifer's, all the planets, matter, and intelligence--all of which LDS deny since they prefer their weak god who had to grow up to become a god. "Firstborn" according to vs. 18 simply means "preeminent." But you prefer to devalue Jesus and treat the term as literally the first one born of heavenly parents.
Theres nothing wrong about that: For "...the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become one of us, to know good and evil..." BTW, why are you trying to interpret Paul & not Jesus' words? I can simply share with you John.1:1-3
QUESTION: Did you know that every thing was created spiritually before they were placed on earth physically?...and that includes you..meaning before your physical body was created, your spirit was already in existence.
Gen. 3:22 never says they gave up their humanness and became the Creator of everything outside Himself. Again, it says they became "like" God in knowing good and evil. Again, the Bible doesn't teach LDS polytheism. Jn. 1:1-3 also speaks of Jesus (vs. 14) as the creator of everything ever created which includes your spirit and Lucifer. The passage contradicts Mormonism, and it also never uses the term "gods." There's only 1 true God who *eternally* exists in a plurality of persons.
So I guess since your God Father became a father, He must worship His Father too! And even if that's possible, you still have a weaker god than I do. For mine it's impossible for Him to follow some other Father God (Isa. 40:12-28). It's even possible that your God Father was a practicing homosexual, who later repented and became a God for us. Yours is a silly god. The God of the Bible is 1 in all the ways you listed, but also in nature and Being. He's a Being eternally of 3 inseparable Persons.
Jesus is with His Heavenly Father & the Bible talks about Him standing on the "right hand" of God Almighty (WHAO!!! His Father has hands too? as Jesus has? Thats amazing!) You are surely do believe in an imaginary god, created for you by men (Catholic Bishops in particular in Nicea)
Ya, and feathers too (Ps. 91:4). He must be a bird-man! Don't forget the Holy Ghost descended in the bodily form of a dove (Lk. 3:22), so I guess the H. G.'s a bird too! Another FAQ: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/bible-passages/god-flesh-and-bones-acts-7-55-56 You really should read my FAQ page: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs
Whats the problem Rob, my biblical facts too hard for you to respond to? (Christ standing & on the right-hand of God?) Here, this might help shines some lights into your confused knowledge of your man-made god's image & appearances: Isaiah.55:8-9
You don't read my FAQs. Read them, and then ask me if you still don't get it. But I've already given you some direction with my comments on figurative language, which you even have to do to some extent here or the Father would have stretch marks on His hand. I'm not going to repeat myself any more on this, so read the FAQ if you're sincere. As for Isaiah 55, that's why you don't understand the Triune God. But for LDS, it's not that impressive, since God learned from some other God.
Already wrote an FAQ on this: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/book-mormon/weren-t-there-many-plain-and-precious-things-taken-away-bible-1-nephi-13- You ought to believe Isaiah that there is no more than 1 true God (40:12-28, 43:10, 44:6, 8, 24). Nicea had nothing to do with the canon of scripture. Nicea was a debate of Arius and Athanasius over the nature of Christ. Arius, like you, devalued Christ. The only reason you don't trust the Bible is because you hold to LDS revelation.
Nicea has a lot to do to where you are today. The Creed they formulated then is what today's christians are following & embraced.
I know most of you street preachers don't like Mormons to preach from their so called Holy Book which you stole from the Pope. I am enjoying the freedom God gave us to read, study & learn from all good books, the Bible included & you can't do nothing about that, tuff, isn't it?
Simply because the Spirit bears witness doesn't rule out the fact that the Father & Son live in my heart. So does my mom even though she's in another state. If she can do it, then what's the big deal about the Father & Son doing it? Remember Jesus allowed Himself to be worshipped, & you can't serve 2 masters. There's only 1 true God, and LDS have lied to you.
RS: "Remember Jesus allowed Himself to be worshipped..."
*When & where in your Holy Book does it say so? You are dreaming these thing up, aren't ya? Every thing Jesus did in three years during His ministry, were what His Heavenly Father sent Him to do. We worship only one God Almighty, Jesus' Father "...who art in heaven..." This is a funny one: one of the street preachers brought up that trinity is like the siamese twins (with one body with three heads) WHAT??? Go figure!
You don't read the verses I gave you. Mt. 28:16-20 tells how Jesus was worshipped and accepted it. So if you don't worship Jesus, then you devalue Him to your own detriment. You need a bigger Jesus to save you.
Did Jesus tell them to worship Him? (NOPE! NOT AT ALL!) Or was it just the way John recorded the event? Its amazing how Matthew. Mark, Luke & John wrote about it differently. Thats the problem with humans, they try to please God thru their emotions & affections but remember God knows every single thought that you have before you even say/act them out. How can I devalue Jesus when everything to His Father is thru Him? Jesus is always in the picture & our Mediator.
You are also dishonest if you never acknowledge how that what I'm doing is no different from Samuel the Lamanite. You are also dishonest if you never acknowledge that there is not a verse anywhere in the Bible that says you can *never* yell critically at another. You are also dishonest if you don't realize that sometimes you don't answer a fool according to his folly (Prov. 26:4) and other times you do (Prov. 26:5).
This whole conversation started out with you criticizing me as being "hypocritical." You can dish it out but you can't take it, can you? Again, whaaaaaaaaaaa! Rob's a bully, jerk, unloving, critical, but also whiney, etc., etc. Please!
Again, this is a cop-out or smoke screen for not having to deal with the real issues of whether God has sex with many wives in a pre-earth life or whether He had to get married to become a god for us and this set of worlds, etc. You're not dealing with the biblical info on this fundamental topic. Eternal life is knowing God (Jn. 17:3), but you'd rather spend your time whining about what a meanie Rob is. God will judge you for this.
Again you are dishonest *if* you don't see how you've been criticizing my faith this whole time. You are also blind *if* you don't acknowledge how street preaching requires yelling to crowds without a mic. You are also dishonest if you don't acknowledge what your own scriptures teach (1 Ne. 14:10 & J.S. 1:19) and how that criticizes other faiths.
What personal attacks? Now you're making straw-men. I never called you an unloving jerk. I never called you an idiot. I never said you sleep around. These are irrelevant to the arguments. Focus on that. If you're referring to me calling you blind, that's what Christians think unbelievers are, and that's exactly how you're acting.
Think. How are the people in the back of the crowd going to hear you unless you yell? Please, this is so silly! You don't listen well. Watch the video and read the comments and also go to MormonInfo[dot]org and you'll see positively what I believe. Part of my faith is to yell to crowds who are going to hell that they need (positively) the true God--again, the Creator of everything outside Himself. You critiqued and criticized that this whole time, and if you don't see that, you're dishonest.
Can you imagine if you or the Hinckster would have integrity and yell loudly enough so crowds could hear as you read from your own scriptures (e.g., Mat. 23, 1 Ne. 14:10, Smith's 1st vision)? Then according to your own hypocritical standards, we'd be justified in calling you unloving jerks. Unfortunately, you're so blind you can't even see how crazy your thinking is. This is typical cult-like thinking of those on their way to hell.
I don't think you love me since you're mocking my faith in sharing to Mormons the way I do. Why don't you share a positive message? If you can do it, so can I. But if you'd listen carefully, I'm doing just what Jesus and His apostles and prophets did. They tore down and they built up. I give positive and negative. Jesus preached on hell more than He did on heaven.
I read the Bible every day as well. Obviously one of us is distorting it and/or not understanding it, and I don't think it's me. Then again, in humility, maybe we've both got it wrong.
OK, so now you're acknowledging that yelling has its place? You've been criticizing my faith this whole time, since my faith tells me to do what you see in the video. Your own scripture calls my church "the church of the devil" (1 Nephi 14:10), and your prophet said that all other churches were wrong, all their creeds are an abomination and all their professors are corrupt (Joseph Smith--History 1:19). It's OK for your scriptures to state that, but you are just supposed to keep it to yourself?
Do you know that even Gordon B. Hinckley was a street preacher. At Hyde Park in London, you've got to yell to be heard. religion[dot]byu[dot]edu/NXT/gateway.dll/public1/1/2/209/221?f=templates$fn=document-frame[dot]htm$3[dot]0$q=$uq=$x=$up=1 and also see lds[dot]org/library/display/0,4945,2043-1-3470-1,00[dot]html So the Hickster must have been unloving too if he was yelling to be heard!
I do know what the LDS Church teaches about their god, and I know it's not the Creator of literally everything outside Himself. If I didn't have compassion on you, I'd just ignore you. True love warns!
Thanks for the well wishes. I do more than just yell. Right now I'm emailing you. Yelling is very rare, but some times it is justified for all the reasons I've already shared. I pray that you'll read the Bible and really get to know a much more powerful God someday.
I'll mock it just like Elijah did to the prophets of Baal. Your god never created everything, and has to follow another god and score a wife before he can become god for just us and this set of worlds. That's too wimpy of a god for the Bible. My God's also not so perverted to have sex with a lot of women in a pre-earth life to produce all of us. You need a better God. As Jesus put it, "the only true God" (Jn. 17:3).
You judged my heart by claiming I don't love LDS, that I'm a hypocrite, that I'm critical, that I'm "going to justify [myself] straight to hell!" These are all judgments that you make based on the info you have. Based on the info I have of the LDS Church and what the Bible says, I make judgments as well. Ultimate judgment is with God, but again, Jesus told us to make righteous judgments (Jn. 7:24). I choose to follow Him and preach like He did. I'd rather be like Him than anyone else.
According to the LDS version of hell in D&C 76, all that means is that I won't get the celestial kingdom. I'll get the 2nd heaven instead. But if I'm right, then you will get no heaven at all, but utter torment outside of God's presence forever. Repent of your Mickey Mouse god before it's too late.
Why do you think Paul was sitting in prison when he wrote this? It was because he started riots with his preaching... something that will never happen to you, unless God changes your heart.
Proverbs are general statements that should be followed, but they don't rule out exceptions when the greater good is required. The greater good of contending for the faith to save people from hell takes precedence, and until you see this, you'll continue to act like the child who gets upset when his parents discipline him for bad behavior. The issue of your salvation is worth doing what Samuel the Lamanite supposedly did, and preaching on the wall to a stubborn and lost people.
You're judging my heart that I don't have love for you or the rest of LDS. If you can do it, then so can I. What is righteous is following Christ and warning as many as possible. If you don't then you're either chicken or you really don't love others or you're just not personally called to it. None of which count against what God has laid on my heart.
Again, you're too beholden to your appearances. I preach Christ out of good will and love. I do this because I love God and LDS and don't want to see the latter go to hell. Thus I obey God's word when He tells me to contend earnestly for the faith once delievered to the saints (Jude 3).
Just throwing this out as a possibility... perhaps you've been brainwashed by our culture as well as your church to assume that when guys preach by yelling it's automatically hate.
Are you really comparing what Christ did in yelling at others and warning them about hell to unjust wars, murder, fornication and adultery? Again, I'm still waiting for a verse that says I can't do what Christ and His apostles and prophets did.
I'm not so much concerned about "showing" rather than "doing" love. Yes, just as I'd yell to wake others up from a house fire, I am loving crowds in yelling at them to get out of their cult fire before it's too late. Initially being waken from some guy yelling to get out might seem rude, but when you truly understand the situation, you see how justified it is. May God give you eyes to see and ears to hear before it's too late.
OK, so I did answer your question where Christ did this. That's what you wanted right? Now if you're saying that I can't use the mind He gave me to judge, then you're again being hypocritical and are judging me that I shouldn't judge. Further, I've already pointed out to you John 7:24. Did you read that too? He said for us to "judge righteous judgment." Just because Christ knows men's hearts is no reason for us to keep from warning people and preaching and rebuking as He's commanded us.
Ask for scriptures, and I'll give them. But I've already given the scripture--Mat. 23. Did you read it? Jesus said, "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are" (15).
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. ..."You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?" (Mt. 23:27-8, 33). Also keep in mind Jesus cleaning the temple out with whips.
You don't think Jesus ever raised His voice, but simply smiled in Mat. 23 and cleaning the temple out? Please. You don't know Jesus and you don't know what love is. Now give me a verse that says I should never raise my voice and warn others they are on their way to hell? BTW, again, I'm acting just like Samuel the Lamanite in your Book of Mormon. You have a double standard, and you know you'd yell at a kid to get out of the street when a bus is coming. That's love; if you don't, it's hate.
Pets do get inheritances. Does that make them human? So if humans get inheritances from God, why would that make them a God by nature? Again, God teaches in His word that He's the only God by nature (Ps. 90:2, Isa. 43:10, Hosea 11:9, and Gal. 4:8). Rom. 8 doesn't prove your point.
Here's what Jesus said: "Then the disciples came to him and asked, 'Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?' He replied, 'Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.'" (Mat. 15:12-14, NIV) Jesus was a really meanie, huh? You're a blind hypocrite who criticizes those who criticize. I'll now leave you alone to follow your father to hell.
Look, I'm not here to make friends. Again, it's not the venue. I know LDS are people whom Christ died for, and are made in God's image. My in-laws are LDS, and I love them and don't want to see them go to hell. I deal with them differently than I do other LDS in different situations. So if you want to deal with doctrine then I'm totally open for that. If you're going to continue to whine about how you don't "perceive" love (a feeling), then I'm done.
Again, whaaaaaaaa! I'm not going play the feelings game with you here. It's getting very old. This isn't the venue. If you want that go to MormonMommyWars[dot]com or oprah[dot]com. If you want to deal with arguments, then I'm totally willing to play and play fairly. Again, get past how disturbing this is perceived by you, and just deal with the content. You're using your feelings as a cop-out for dealing with the arguments, and God will hold you responsible for that.
How about growing up, putting your feelings aside, stoping your whining, and really listening to the content of what I say in the video for starters? After that, then put your feelings aside, and go to the web site provided--MormonInfo[dot]org--and look at the right side of the chart on the Home page to see what Christians believe. You can also put your feelings aside and look at my comments to others below. But if my preaching is just too disturbing for you, then keep your head in the sand.
If you think like most LDS do that becoming a "joint heir" means that we get to become gods to rule over other worlds like God rules over this one, then you miss the point about who God is by nature. He's always been God. So if we "become" gods, we are still humans. God isn't and never has been human (Hosea 11:9). We though will always remain human. This is like when a dog receives an inheritance. It doesn't magically leave dogness and becomes human. It becomes an exalted dog.
If one head of a Siamese twin talks to the other does that make them separate? God doesn't have a body or heads in His nature, but the point is that you can have a distinction without separateness. LDS need to think more carefully about this. For LDS there was a time when the Heavenly Father wasn't the Father, since He hadn't impregnated a wife yet. This is blasphemous to Christianity since the members of the Trinity are eternally "inseparable."
Whaaaa! Do you want me to kiss your bruises and boo boos? Jesus told us to make righteous judgments (Jn. 7:24) and Paul told us to test all things and hold fast to that which is good (1 Thes. 5:21). So it's time to grow up and deal with the arguments. I have been a teacher for over 20 years, and I've learned that sometimes hard-heads and hearts need some shaking to get them to wake up.
You might also take this matter up with God due to all the verses I've already given you as on divine pedagological methodology. You refused to address those biblically. Isa. 55:10-11 says that God's word doesn't return void.
One other thing here. You proved your own argument wrong. The video attracted your attention. You posted comments to interact with me. And you even modified your belief somewhat on being critical. I take that as a positive, in which you are listening to me even if you think I'm a jerk.
I hold to Romans 8; I just don't distort it as you do. I've already wrote an FAQ on this: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/bible-passages/heir-all-romans-8-17-and-32
So, who do you worship? Jesus Christ? or His Father that He was praying to as in the whole chapter of John.17...? Read, study & learn from the whole chapter & understand who Jesus was praying to. Trinitarianism is Catholic & not biblical at all, and the whole Protestant-christian movement like you fell for it. Now it seem like we (LDS.Church) understand the Holy Bible more than you do.
Again, there is only One True God that Jesus prays & worships...His/our Father 'who art in heaven'
You should understand what we believe before you make claims that it's not biblical. I also wrote an FAQ on how Jesus prays to His Father, not a separate God: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/philosophy-and-theology/how-can-jesus-be-one-being-father-when-jesus-prays-father The Book of Mormon title page calls Jesus "the eternal God." So you've got at least 2 gods. If the Father is the only true God, then you'd have to say Jesus is a false god.
It seems that you're still trying your best to defend a man-made belief, that some Catholic priest(s) dreamed up. Again, trinitarianism is not biblical. Jesus never prayed to himself. From you Holy Bible "...O Father, gloryfy thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was" (John.17:5) These are two separate beings in two separate places talking. FYI Jesus is one of the three separated-members of the Godhead. Can figure?
You obviously never read the FAQ otherwise you'd understand that most Christians are not modalists and think that Jesus prays to Himself. He prays to His Father, but that doesn't make Him a "separate" God as LDS think. Sides of triangles are "distinct" from angles of triangles, but you're never going to "separate" them. Wherever you have one you have the other. Mormonism is not biblical since they are polytheists.
Again, kids who are disciplined don't immediately perceive love. Similarly LDS who get rebuked don't immediately see love. Sometimes they convert and then they see the love. Problem is LDS are blind. I've tried many times to speak to LDS in other venues and LDS continue to stick their heads in the sand. LDS continue to sin by devaluing God in making Him something other than the Creator of literally everything outside Himself. May God give you eyes to see and ears to hear before it's too late.
QUESTION: Again, which God that you're talking about? God the Father....? Or God the Son, Jesus Christ, whom God the Father sent to this world? These are two distinct beings.
Your God's image was changed in Nicea by the Catholic priests...that he (your god) is so huge that he (your god) covers the entire universe & yet so tiny that he (your god) can can actually live in your heart. Thats the Holy Father's Catholicisms.
*Jesus prays to one God & thats His & our Heavenly Father too.
Just because the person's are distinct doesn't entail that they are "separate" gods. The Bible doesn't teach that. Instead Jesus taught that there's "only 1 true God" (John 17:3). The creeds are based on what the Bible clearly teaches. LDS are polytheists and the Bible isn't. Repent before it's too late.
Well I'm being critical too. I just try to do it to as many people as possible, and sometimes that requires yelling. Sorry you can't see the love, but my heart here is clean before the Lord. Love isn't always perceived by those it is given to--sort of like when kids are disciplined. Love demands it, but kids think the folks hate them at the time. Also if Samuel the Lamanite can do it from the wall, then I can do it from the fence. Do you think Samuel was unloving/hypocritical for yelling?
So you are criticizing me. I'm very longsuffering with LDS. That's why I don't stick guns to their heads to make them do what I want. If your kid is playing in the street, you yell at him to get him out as quickly as possible. If a crowd is going to hell I want as many to hear as possible, so that's why I yell. You're too short-sighted to see how love works (read Matthew 23). In Isaiah 58:1 God tells Isaiah to lift up his voice as a trumpet. That's love.
LDS scripture teaches that not only is there "the Only Begotten of the Father," but there are also "begotten sons and daughters unto God" and these may grow into gods with "all power" (D&C 76:23-4 and 132:20).
Of course the Son was with the Father in the beginning, since they both make up, along with the Holy Spirit, the only Being of God there is. God creates, not begets, Adam. What's un-biblical is making them into a team of 3 separate gods united only in their purpose and nature they share. It's also un-biblical to teach that every human is literally "begotten," not created, of God and Heavenly Mum or Mothers in a pre-earth life.
Catholics don't treat Protestants that way anyway, and they realize they both hold to what C. S. Lewis called "Mere Christianity." Mormonism doesn't, since they are polytheists. If you think my correcting is a form of persecution, then you make light of the real persecution the early Mormons went through, and you're a bigger baby than I thought you were.
All Christian groups (Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox) hold to what I'm preaching here. Cults like Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Moonies, etc. deny the Triune God of the Bible.
No blind eye. The child was the only one born of this woman. It wasn't that she had a dog or a cat. Humans beget humans, and this was the only one she had. God begets God, and He's the only One He has. You and I are not begotten sons of God and will never grow up to become gods to exclusively rule other worlds as God does this one. That's what's un-biblical.
You don't understand the Bible's doctrine of God existing eternally as 3 Persons. One of those persons began working through another form or nature 2000 years ago. That form is distinct from the form He operated through from eternity. You should really read some of my FAQ's so I don't have to repeat myself: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/philosophy-and-theology/how-can-jesus-be-one-being-father-when-jesus-prays-father
Just because you see one instance of me protesting doesn't entail that this is all I protest to. I defend Christianity against all the cults who limit Jesus to simply the nature of a man. See my CourageousChristiansUnited[dot]com.
You are here confusing the 2 natures of Christ. In one nature He was created. In His other nature He was never created, but was the Creator of literally everything outside Himself.
Christians of course believe that Jesus was the only begotten. "Monogenes" shows that Jesus has the nature of the Father. "Genes" is referring a genus or kind. Dogs beget dogs, cats beget cats, and God begets God. Since God is eternally God in His nature (Ps. 90:2), if He begets Someone, then that someone must be eternally God as well. This is why the Greek in John 1:18 calls Jesus "the only begotten God." He's not a separate God, but He's the 2nd Person of the only God there is (Jn. 17:3).
Since Jesus created Adam, and Adam in Genesis was created by God, and God creates everything "alone" (Isa. 44:24), then Jesus is God. Notice that Jesus "created" Adam; He didn't "beget" Him. Whatever you create isn't of your nature, but whatever you beget is. Jesus is the only one begotten of the Father. Thus, we don't have the nature of God, and will never be gods to rule over other worlds. We are instead "man" by nature and "God is not a man" (Hosea 11:9) in His nature.
Again, this is irrelevant to Hunter's point that Lucifer is the spirit brother of Jesus. This cheapens Jesus, since the Bible teaches that God created literally everything. Jesus as God created Lucifer. Jesus created us too. We all freely chose to become evil. Don't blame our sin on God. Finally, if "only begotten" to you means Jesus was the only one physically born by God, then what about Adam? LDS don't understand the biblical word for "only begotten."
Of course He grew as a man, which began 2,000 years ago. But as God, He never grew, since He was always God. There's no problem with the Omnipotent creating another nature or attachment to work through. Christians have room for both natures, and unfortunately Mormons only have room for the weak or finite nature.
This is irrelevant, since the issue is that Christians deny that Jesus had to do anything or follow anyone to become God. He always was God. Of course LDS think Jesus perfectly followed the Father. So what? Your Jesus had to grow up into a god while other true gods were already in existence ruling over other worlds. Blasphemy--see John 17:3.
I don't care if they discourage talk of it or not. They certainly sing about her in their own hymn book ("O My Father"): lds[dot]org/churchmusic/detailmusicPlayer/index[dot]html?searchlanguage=1&searchcollection=1&searchseqstart=292&searchsubseqstart=%20&searchseqend=292&searchsubseqend=ZZZ Jesus to Christians is begotten from eternity, not created like everything else is. LDS G. A. Milton R. Hunter, The Gospel through the Ages, 15(Lucifer "the spirit-brother of Jesus"). He knew better than you.
The LDS Jesus didn't create Lucifer, the planet they were born on as spirit brothers, their spirit-grandfather's planet, matter or intelligence, since the D&C says they are eternal. Since God's always been God as Ps. 90:2 says, He didn't need to score a wife to become a god for us. I never said that Jesus denied His Father's will, but again, Jesus has always been God just as much as the Father and Spirit.
Yes, Jesus created the angels, including Lucifer, as well as literally everything outside His divine nature, since He's always been God over all as Rom. 9:5 says (cf. Col. 1:13-18). I don't think Satan popped out of Mary. LDS think that Jesus and Lucifer both popped out of Heavenly Mum. Thus, they're brothers in the pre-earth life.
Hi Rob, have you read D. Michael Quinn's books? Like The Mormon Hierarchy - Origins of Power and Extensions of Power. I just got through reading his book Mormonism and the Magic World View. Very fascinating stuff. I knew Joseph Smith was involved in the occult but I didn't realize just how prevalent it was. If Mormons would just study their own history from real historians like Quinn, they would see just how MAN-made their religion truly is.
Oh and about your shouting. You might try a megaphone next time. It will save you from straining your voice. I suspect you might have had some difficulting talking the next day. If you're going to preach to the crowds, do it the smart way. No use spitting in the wind.
You need a permit in Manti to use a megaphone. I don't think it's likely I could get it during this event. I usually only preach for the last 1/2 hour right before the pageant starts.
Well if Samuel the Lamanite can yell to the crowds from the wall in the Book of Mormon as well as depicted at this Manti pageant, then I can do the same thing. I have nothing but love for LDS. My in-laws are LDS. They all need to repent or they will freely go to hell for eternity. Believe it or not, I love you too and want you to spend eternity with me in God's presence. Someone needs to warn LDS before it's too late.
Unlike the Jesus of the Bible, the LDS Jesus is a weak god, since he didn't literally create everything outside himself. He didn't create Lucifer or our spirits, since we are all younger siblings in a pre-earth life. Jesus didn't create the world his heavenly father or spirit grandfather grew up on. Jesus didn't create the planet he was born on as a spirit child. Jesus didn't create matter or intelligences since those things are eternal (D&C 93:29-33 & 131:7-8). False Christ (Mt. 24:24)!
Of course the Jesus of the Bible could save everyone, but then you'd complain that He took away everyone's free agency by making them robots. But humans by nature are a children of wrath (Eph. 1:1-10), and most according to Jesus want go to destruction (Mt. 7:13-14). You should be grateful than any get saved. I'd be grateful if you repent, so that I can spend eternity with you in God's presence. And God and I would rather you come willingly than not at all.
Read the verses I gave. I'd rather believe them than you on this issue of who gets saved. I know LDS hold to free agency. You don't get the point I was making. I don't think you "want" to get it. That's your free agency, and that's why the Jesus of the Bible loves you enough to let you go where you want for eternity. You hate him. I'll continue to love and scream at people to get out of the street when there's oncoming traffic.
there was really NOTHING 'free' about that agency. The Mormon Christ who is Jesus gave his life and suffered much for it! Now others who follow the Mormon Christ who is Jesus have to pick up their cross and follow him, no matter how many people yell at them and their families?
BTW, besides weeping and wailing at the Mormons were you also gnashing teeth?
..Wow this is crazy. Unbelievable the confrontations that the LDS faith collides with.
..If I remember correctly wasn't Lucifer banished from Heaven down to Hell for wanting to be a GOD! Growing up as a Christian I never thought of being a God, in the presence of GOD.....yes!
You are right on ONE item in your 20+ posts. Our Christ in NOT your christ!
The Mormon Christ is Jesus of Nazareth. He was born in Bethelhem. He is God, not man! He is the Savior of the world and the Pharisses of the day follow around His disciples and LIE and DECIEVE like VIPERS!
Your christ was born in Alexandrian and then taken to Rome and Nice. Your christ is NOW a man. Your christ talks to himself and is schizophrenic! Your christ is NOT our Christ who is Jesus!!.
My Christ was born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago. My Christ has 2 natures since that is what the Bible teaches. That's why we can exalt Him above anything imaginable and acknowledge that He also has a finite attachment that He may operate through when He wants. My Christ, since He is the 2nd Person of God, isn't a schizo. He's in an eternal relationship with 2 others--Father and Spirit. LDS devalue Jesus by making him merely a man who was exalted to a divine office--one obtained by many others.
Further, the LDS Jesus hasn't always been in a relationship with the Father and Spirit as such, since the LDS Jesus had to wait until Elohim impregnated his wife in a pre-earth life. So for LDS, the Father hasn't always been the Father, and the Son hasn't always been the Son. Blasphemy, not because of the creeds, but because of what the Bible plainly teaches.
you lie like a dog. the mormonics do NOT believe Jesus is God, but a brother of Lucifer. and that the god of this earth, who was once a human, came to earth and had literal, physical sex w/ mary to create Jesus on earth. the mormonics and the satanic koranics think it's ok to lie to further their agenda. Rev 21:8b and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Bruce R. McConkie-"Hence, there is -- and must be -- a devil, and he is the father of lies and of wickedness. He and the fallen angels who followed him are spirit children of the Father. As Christ is the Firstborn of the Father in the spirit, so Lucifer is a son of the morning, one of those born in the morning of preexistence.." The first spirit born to our heavenly parents was Jesus Christ (see D&C 93:21),so he is literally our elder brother (see Discourses of Brigham Young, p. 26). enough?
The Mormon teaching that Jesus and Satan are brothers is based on the concept of God being the Father of all pre-existent spirits. Since Jesus is the son of the Father, and all other spirits, including Satan, are/were created by the Father, then all are brothers and sisters! This idea has been part of Mormon teaching from the time of Joseph Smith and continues today. Few LDS authorities have been bold enough to plainly state this, including you. the mormonic god had sex w/ mary to create Jesus
Mormon's feed off persecution. They love it. It energizes them. And I have no doubt that Mormon's will take this screeming, yelling, straining your voice as some kind of persecution.

We believe that Mary was a VIRGIN when she conceived Jesus and that it is possible that she had more children after Jesus, with her husband Joseph (not Joseph Smith for all the ignoramuses out there).
jennysjuice 3 years ago

EQUALS billions of dollars in the LDS organization.

He's paying his bills with it and going out to eat and buying his wife a mercedes.
jennysjuice 3 years ago
Wow you clearly have a one eyed track. I don't know about you but the Stake president asked me if I was a FULL tithe payer. Full NOT partial. What does being a FULL tithe payer have to do to enter LDS temples? DO YOU honestly believe that the Church HEADS in Salt LAke City do not receive ant payment from the LDS organization. Most of the self proclaimed apostles and prophet are board members in the many MLM schemes/businesses that the LDS church promote. Monavie is the newest.
uSoBayArea 3 years ago
No one in the church says you HAVE to pay your tithing, the bible does though. We believe it is a commandment of God and to please God you should give a percentage to his church. We have free will, you don't even have to believe in God.You can believe that life is one big party if you want. The leaders of the church do not get paid but they have jobs outside of the church.Promoting monavie is a good thing,it's supposed to be good for you.
jennysjuice 3 years ago
The Old testament talks about giving 10percent. The New testament says to give handily not 10percent. LDS leaders proclaim that you should ALWAYS pay your Tithing, so you can receive blessings. The Bishops and Stake Presidents and other territorial leaders all have JOBS. The Self proclaimed apostles and prophets don't have jobs because they are "Board Members" on many business ventures that the LDS have. Thousands of MLM schemes stash millions of dollars into these men's pockets.
uSoBayArea 3 years ago
In Hebrews 7 it talks about Abraham giving a "tenth". Ofcourse a tenth and ten percent are the same. Now if you look at it this way. You make $100.00 one week, so you give $1.00 in tithing. Wow, if you think that's alot, what would NOT be alot in your mind? If you look at all these other religions, they say "we can't be perfect so why even try?" or "we want to drink so let's find an excuse to drink,oh,Jesus drank wine,DRINK UP!" These are churches that accomodate the lifestyles of man.
jennysjuice 3 years ago
Yes Jesus turned water into Wine. Has any prophet of the LDS faith performed a miracle? So what is your take on apostles and prophets of the LDS faith being on the pay roll of many Boards throughout Utah and other LDS business ventures?
uSoBayArea 3 years ago
The General Authorities DO get paid. Just because the local bishops don't get paid doesn't mean "no one in the church gets paid." That is a complete lie.

Where can I find the information that you share with me?
Hey, when's the last time you paid you preacher's property tax on top of your own?
Thanks.
jennysjuice 3 years ago
The prophet and apostles are reimbursed for their travel expenses, that's all. They expect no pay for their services to the Lord. They are paid in blessings from the Lord. Ofcourse as old as they are, they're probably retired from their daily jobs. The tabernacle choir pays for their travels out of their own pockets ($2500 per person) and the missionaries pay for their own missions. Not one person gets paid for their callings in the church. Why would I lie?
Thanks.
jennysjuice 3 years ago
A liar is someone who knows the truth but chooses to hide it by telling a lie. If you don't know the truth then you are simply misinformed and are spreading a lie (not that you are the author of the lie itself).

The 'buy-bull' is pornography for the mind.
tattypatty 3 years ago
O future Heavenly Omnipotent and worshipful god-in-training leSavaii: stay away from the porn of the LDS god who has sex with many women to produce us in a pre-earth. The LDS is so weak He's dependent on women to even become a god for just a part of the universe. This bastardization of Christianity is certainly not from the Bible, and neither is it from pre-Nicea. It's an invention of Joseph Smith with no evidence in its favor.
RSivulka 3 years ago
If the LDS.Church is so weak as you stated: then why am I still standing up to your nonsense? And the LDS.Church is still growing strong as ever. Christians had constantly failed to destroy God's Truth 'cause of their blindness, but God had already promised that His "...kingdom shall never be destroyed...but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms (protestantisms) and it shall stand forever" Ooooops!!! what are you gonna do Robbie? You are on the wrong side of God's pasture.
leSavaii 3 years ago
O future Heavenly all-Holy and worshipful god-in-training leSavaii: "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2 Tim. 3:7). If His Kingdom shall never be destroyed, then why the universal apostasy which required your Restored Church? If it can be broken before, then why not now? But Jesus said the gates of hell would never prevail against it, so Joe lied and you're in a cult.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Here again, youre lacking & this is why Rob: Apostasy has nothing to do with destroying the kingdom of God.This era only came about when the people of God slowly rejected & injected their own doctrines into Gods Truth. What happened, God ceased all His revelations ¬ allowing Himself from talking to man, also Jesus showed John His Kingdom with an angel in the midst of heaven, which will be preached to all men before His Second Comming. He never destroy it, but preserved it 'til the right time.
leSavaii 3 years ago
Looks like you're the one who's never been able to come to the truth because God's truth is to love one another and not pull the stunts that you do. You should be imbarrased. I'm imbarrased for you. You ought to do some more praying, your heart is full of anger and it needs to be softened. Here's how we pray, we open the prayer as "Dear heavenly Father" or "our dear Father in Heaven" then we close in the name of his son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
jennysjuice 3 years ago
"The Mormon God is a man"? And what about your God? What I know about the imaginary-God you worship is that, he is so huge that covers the the whole universe & so tiny that he can dwell in your heart? How can Jesus fits in your heart when everyone saw Him with a resurrected-body of flesh & bones accenting into heaven?
Thru out your Holy Book God-the-Son is not God-the-Father. Completely two separate beings.
QUESTION: Again, who do you worship Rob Sivulka? God-the-Father? or God-the-Son?
leSavaii 3 years ago
RSivulka 3 years ago
Jn.14:23 I see how you twist & spin these words. Jesus simply said that 'if you love me keep my commandments'..."and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him" I do believe Jesus is referring to the representation of God-the-Holy Ghost here (who bears witness of the Father & the Son) in this particular phrase as in 1Jn.3:23/Rev.3:20
You are contradicting other trinitarian-street-preachers of who you worship. They all worship God the Son, but was that right path Jesus showed us?
leSavaii 3 years ago
D&C 130:3 is false. The Father & Son live with me, and I've never had a personal appearance of them. The verse says it's false for Father & Son to dwell in the heart, yet Alma 34:36 says the Lord does dwell in the heart, not in a temple. Who is your Lord? My Lord is the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, and I worship all of them as the only God there is. They aren't separate gods, but distinct Persons who make up the only God there is. I don't contradict other trinitarians. Mt. 4:10, 6:24, 28:16-20.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Anytime the writer or we hear/read of the Father & His Son to live/dwell in our hearts doesn't really mean they actually come down from heaven & live in your heart dude...simply refers to the another comforter or the third member of the Godhead(God-the-Holy-Ghost)
Jesus showed his followers to pray to His Father & not to Him, and if you & other street preachers don't understand that, then you are not a christians but trinitarians.
leSavaii 3 years ago
I never said the Father & Son physically come from anywhere to physically live in my heart. You're not answering the questions I asked. Again, who is your Lord in the Alma 34:36 passage who may live in your heart? Jesus never said not to pray to Him. Of course He told His disciples to pray to the Father, but Jesus and His apostles you can also pray to Jesus since He's just as much God is the Father & Spirit are (read!--Jn. 14:14 in Greek or New American Standard says "If you ask Me anything").
RSivulka 3 years ago
You don't obey Jesus when He tells you to honor Him just as you do the Father (Jn. 5:18, 23). Stephen prayed to Jesus (Acts 7:59). Paul tells the Corinthians to call on the name of Jesus (1 Cor. 1:2), and John writes that our confidence is in the Son of God when we ask Him in His name, He hears us (1 Jn. 5:13-5). You're in a cult & not following New Testament Christianity.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Prophets & Apostles are as much humans as we are. They even contradict each other. Good example is the Apostles Paul & the rest of the original Apostles of Christ.
*Acts.7:59. Again, Stephen 1st. called upon God and then in the Name of Jesus.
*1Cor.1:2. Was Paul talking as an Apostle or as a regular human-being trying to intrduce himself to the Corinthians?
*1Jn.5:13-15. Familiarized yourself with Name of Jesus Christ, for He is the Mediator & He stands between you & God the Father.
leSavaii 3 years ago
Except when God speaks through them He preserves His word (Ps. 12:7, Isa. 40:8, Mt. 5:18, Jn. 10:35). There's no interpretation when God speaks and moves through them (2 Pt. 1:20-1). You have to now devalue God's word & make it contradictory instead of seeing how consistent it is. You hate the true God & His word. Acts still has Stephen praying directly to Jesus. Paul's letter to Corinth is the word of God. Jesus is mediator, as a human, but as God, you should pray to Him just like the Father.
RSivulka 3 years ago
I devalued Gods word? meaning, the Holy Bible? It contains some truths, but not all truths, and it all began in Nicea, when Catholic priests decided only which books they like to be included in the Bible & later on they added the word "Holy" to it. So you see, Im only trying to make the best out of some remaining truths in it. Pauls letters are mostly in Pauls own good words of counclings. He was a changed man & used by God as His vessel among the Gentiles that he was well familiar with.
leSavaii 3 years ago
Did you know that one of your founding-fathers (Martin Luther) embraced Paul's letters more & wishing the Epistle of James (Book of James) was not included in your Holy Book? & hated God (Loving God) for punishing the sinners? That is so true with Protestant, Evangelical, Born-again trinitarians, even Catholics.
What path Christ had/has set for us to follow, we must obey & follow. Worship & pray to His Father, not Him, but give all the glories & praises to only one God, our Heavenly Father.
leSavaii 3 years ago

They function in a ONENESS of thought, destiny & purpose in all good things in life.
leSavaii 3 years ago
But the Bible teaches only 1 true God, who doesn't even know of another formed before Him or after Him (Isa. 43:10, 44:6, 8). You're a polytheist. You have to devalue "God" to be a family name for multiple Gods. The problem is that your Godhead family doesn't always exist as such. There was a time when your Father wasn't the Father until He impregnated a wife. The God of the Bible isn't human (Hosea 11:9); He's always been God--from everlasting to everlasting (Ps. 90:2). You've got a weak god
RSivulka 3 years ago
The Holy Bible says so & what Jesus showed is justifiable and thats what the trinitarians are confused with...THE THREE SEPARATE MEMBERS/BEINGS OF THE GODHEAD. What counts now is what Jesus showed
YUO: "The God of the Bible isn't human" (Hosea 11:9)
*First, a wrong & a misinterpretation of the scripture as street preachers always do.
*Secondly, If your God is not human, then whose image were you created with? A corrilla? You are human, aren't ya?
leSavaii 3 years ago
The Bible never says "separate" and it never says there's more than 1 true God. You confuse an image with a nature. Another FAQ I wrote: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/bible-passages/image-genesis-1-26-27
RSivulka 3 years ago
Why do you listen to the Bible? You should follow, listen & learn from what Jesus is doing & saying. But thats street preaching, all they do is what the Holy Bible says this & the Holy Bible says that. Get off it & let God's Truth sets you free.
How about Gen.3:22...."And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become one of us, to know good and evil..." Not only we were created in God's image but He included us as one of them. Can you figure?
leSavaii 3 years ago
Jesus' apostle said if anyone teaches a different gospel than that which is already been given, then it's to be damned (Gal. 1:6-9). I follow the teaching of the apostles, and you follow a cult that distorts them. As for Gen. 3:22, "one of them" in what sense? It clearly says in knowing good and evil, not that they are all of the same nature. Image yes, nature no! You're simply cherry-picking with the Bible. Are you really expecting your spirit kids to worship you? O most holy Father leSavaii!
RSivulka 3 years ago
You follow the teachings of the Apostles? Again, this is the problem among trinitarians, they forget to listen & follow the one person whose Gospel we preach, Jesus Christ. You need to know, I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, not the Bible nor the Apostles. The Apostles preached only One True Church (The Church of Jesus Christ) and I guess that makes them Mormons, don't you agree?
leSavaii 3 years ago
You just think you follow Jesus, but you have no reason to think so. You just have a delusional burning in your bosom, which you interpret being from God. I believe God has given you a strong delusion so that you'd believe a lie as 2 Thessalonians 2:11 says.
RSivulka 3 years ago
I know God's Truth is starting to get into you: Who we worship / In whose name we must use / Whose message that we must follow, etc...
The only BIG LIE that all Protestants (Trinitarians) is living, was crafted for them by the Catholic bishops in Nicea. They completely changed& confused the way how the Godhead looks & functions in the minds of the innocence. The only main player in the whole Bible (OT/NT) is Jesus Christ "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature"
leSavaii 3 years ago
Even Paul understood how these three members of the Godhead function: Paul is inspired by God-the-Holy-Ghost/Spirit, & Jesus portrays the image of the invisible God.
Don't you ever wonder who this "invisible" God that Jesus (God-the-Son) prays & worships, and even portrays His image is? Does that sound like a lie to you Rob Sivulka? I don't think so, but just is that you are on the wrong side of the fence.
leSavaii 3 years ago
O future Heavenly Father god-in-training leSavaii: That same passage in Colossians 1 says that, whether in heaven or earth, Christ created everything. He created your spirit, Lucifer's, all the planets, matter, and intelligence--all of which LDS deny since they prefer their weak god who had to grow up to become a god. "Firstborn" according to vs. 18 simply means "preeminent." But you prefer to devalue Jesus and treat the term as literally the first one born of heavenly parents.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Theres nothing wrong about that: For "...the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become one of us, to know good and evil..." BTW, why are you trying to interpret Paul & not Jesus' words? I can simply share with you John.1:1-3
QUESTION: Did you know that every thing was created spiritually before they were placed on earth physically?...and that includes you..meaning before your physical body was created, your spirit was already in existence.
leSavaii 3 years ago
RSivulka 3 years ago
So I guess since your God Father became a father, He must worship His Father too! And even if that's possible, you still have a weaker god than I do. For mine it's impossible for Him to follow some other Father God (Isa. 40:12-28). It's even possible that your God Father was a practicing homosexual, who later repented and became a God for us. Yours is a silly god. The God of the Bible is 1 in all the ways you listed, but also in nature and Being. He's a Being eternally of 3 inseparable Persons.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Jesus is with His Heavenly Father & the Bible talks about Him standing on the "right hand" of God Almighty (WHAO!!! His Father has hands too? as Jesus has? Thats amazing!) You are surely do believe in an imaginary god, created for you by men (Catholic Bishops in particular in Nicea)
leSavaii 3 years ago
Ya, and feathers too (Ps. 91:4). He must be a bird-man! Don't forget the Holy Ghost descended in the bodily form of a dove (Lk. 3:22), so I guess the H. G.'s a bird too! Another FAQ: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/bible-passages/god-flesh-and-bones-acts-7-55-56 You really should read my FAQ page: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs
RSivulka 3 years ago
Whats the problem Rob, my biblical facts too hard for you to respond to? (Christ standing & on the right-hand of God?) Here, this might help shines some lights into your confused knowledge of your man-made god's image & appearances: Isaiah.55:8-9
leSavaii 3 years ago
You don't read my FAQs. Read them, and then ask me if you still don't get it. But I've already given you some direction with my comments on figurative language, which you even have to do to some extent here or the Father would have stretch marks on His hand. I'm not going to repeat myself any more on this, so read the FAQ if you're sincere. As for Isaiah 55, that's why you don't understand the Triune God. But for LDS, it's not that impressive, since God learned from some other God.
RSivulka 3 years ago
RSivulka 3 years ago
Nicea has a lot to do to where you are today. The Creed they formulated then is what today's christians are following & embraced.
I know most of you street preachers don't like Mormons to preach from their so called Holy Book which you stole from the Pope. I am enjoying the freedom God gave us to read, study & learn from all good books, the Bible included & you can't do nothing about that, tuff, isn't it?
leSavaii 3 years ago
Simply because the Spirit bears witness doesn't rule out the fact that the Father & Son live in my heart. So does my mom even though she's in another state. If she can do it, then what's the big deal about the Father & Son doing it? Remember Jesus allowed Himself to be worshipped, & you can't serve 2 masters. There's only 1 true God, and LDS have lied to you.
RSivulka 3 years ago
RS: "Remember Jesus allowed Himself to be worshipped..."
*When & where in your Holy Book does it say so? You are dreaming these thing up, aren't ya? Every thing Jesus did in three years during His ministry, were what His Heavenly Father sent Him to do. We worship only one God Almighty, Jesus' Father "...who art in heaven..." This is a funny one: one of the street preachers brought up that trinity is like the siamese twins (with one body with three heads) WHAT??? Go figure!
leSavaii 3 years ago
You don't read the verses I gave you. Mt. 28:16-20 tells how Jesus was worshipped and accepted it. So if you don't worship Jesus, then you devalue Him to your own detriment. You need a bigger Jesus to save you.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Did Jesus tell them to worship Him? (NOPE! NOT AT ALL!) Or was it just the way John recorded the event? Its amazing how Matthew. Mark, Luke & John wrote about it differently. Thats the problem with humans, they try to please God thru their emotions & affections but remember God knows every single thought that you have before you even say/act them out. How can I devalue Jesus when everything to His Father is thru Him? Jesus is always in the picture & our Mediator.
leSavaii 3 years ago
You are also dishonest if you never acknowledge how that what I'm doing is no different from Samuel the Lamanite. You are also dishonest if you never acknowledge that there is not a verse anywhere in the Bible that says you can *never* yell critically at another. You are also dishonest if you don't realize that sometimes you don't answer a fool according to his folly (Prov. 26:4) and other times you do (Prov. 26:5).
RSivulka 3 years ago
"Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2 Timothy 3:7).
RSivulka 3 years ago
This whole conversation started out with you criticizing me as being "hypocritical." You can dish it out but you can't take it, can you? Again, whaaaaaaaaaaa! Rob's a bully, jerk, unloving, critical, but also whiney, etc., etc. Please!
RSivulka 3 years ago
Again, this is a cop-out or smoke screen for not having to deal with the real issues of whether God has sex with many wives in a pre-earth life or whether He had to get married to become a god for us and this set of worlds, etc. You're not dealing with the biblical info on this fundamental topic. Eternal life is knowing God (Jn. 17:3), but you'd rather spend your time whining about what a meanie Rob is. God will judge you for this.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Again you are dishonest *if* you don't see how you've been criticizing my faith this whole time. You are also blind *if* you don't acknowledge how street preaching requires yelling to crowds without a mic. You are also dishonest if you don't acknowledge what your own scriptures teach (1 Ne. 14:10 & J.S. 1:19) and how that criticizes other faiths.
RSivulka 3 years ago
What personal attacks? Now you're making straw-men. I never called you an unloving jerk. I never called you an idiot. I never said you sleep around. These are irrelevant to the arguments. Focus on that. If you're referring to me calling you blind, that's what Christians think unbelievers are, and that's exactly how you're acting.
RSivulka 3 years ago
RSivulka 3 years ago
Can you imagine if you or the Hinckster would have integrity and yell loudly enough so crowds could hear as you read from your own scriptures (e.g., Mat. 23, 1 Ne. 14:10, Smith's 1st vision)? Then according to your own hypocritical standards, we'd be justified in calling you unloving jerks. Unfortunately, you're so blind you can't even see how crazy your thinking is. This is typical cult-like thinking of those on their way to hell.
RSivulka 3 years ago
I don't think you love me since you're mocking my faith in sharing to Mormons the way I do. Why don't you share a positive message? If you can do it, so can I. But if you'd listen carefully, I'm doing just what Jesus and His apostles and prophets did. They tore down and they built up. I give positive and negative. Jesus preached on hell more than He did on heaven.
RSivulka 3 years ago
I read the Bible every day as well. Obviously one of us is distorting it and/or not understanding it, and I don't think it's me. Then again, in humility, maybe we've both got it wrong.
RSivulka 3 years ago
I have every right and responsibility and love to defend the Christian Church from the attacks of cults like yours (Jude 3).
RSivulka 3 years ago
OK, so now you're acknowledging that yelling has its place? You've been criticizing my faith this whole time, since my faith tells me to do what you see in the video. Your own scripture calls my church "the church of the devil" (1 Nephi 14:10), and your prophet said that all other churches were wrong, all their creeds are an abomination and all their professors are corrupt (Joseph Smith--History 1:19). It's OK for your scriptures to state that, but you are just supposed to keep it to yourself?
RSivulka 3 years ago
Do you know that even Gordon B. Hinckley was a street preacher. At Hyde Park in London, you've got to yell to be heard. religion[dot]byu[dot]edu/NXT/gateway.dll/public1/1/2/209/221?f=templates$fn=document-frame[dot]htm$3[dot]0$q=$uq=$x=$up=1 and also see lds[dot]org/library/display/0,4945,2043-1-3470-1,00[dot]html So the Hickster must have been unloving too if he was yelling to be heard!
RSivulka 3 years ago
I do know what the LDS Church teaches about their god, and I know it's not the Creator of literally everything outside Himself. If I didn't have compassion on you, I'd just ignore you. True love warns!
RSivulka 3 years ago
Thanks for the well wishes. I do more than just yell. Right now I'm emailing you. Yelling is very rare, but some times it is justified for all the reasons I've already shared. I pray that you'll read the Bible and really get to know a much more powerful God someday.
RSivulka 3 years ago
I'll mock it just like Elijah did to the prophets of Baal. Your god never created everything, and has to follow another god and score a wife before he can become god for just us and this set of worlds. That's too wimpy of a god for the Bible. My God's also not so perverted to have sex with a lot of women in a pre-earth life to produce all of us. You need a better God. As Jesus put it, "the only true God" (Jn. 17:3).
RSivulka 3 years ago
You judged my heart by claiming I don't love LDS, that I'm a hypocrite, that I'm critical, that I'm "going to justify [myself] straight to hell!" These are all judgments that you make based on the info you have. Based on the info I have of the LDS Church and what the Bible says, I make judgments as well. Ultimate judgment is with God, but again, Jesus told us to make righteous judgments (Jn. 7:24). I choose to follow Him and preach like He did. I'd rather be like Him than anyone else.
RSivulka 3 years ago
According to the LDS version of hell in D&C 76, all that means is that I won't get the celestial kingdom. I'll get the 2nd heaven instead. But if I'm right, then you will get no heaven at all, but utter torment outside of God's presence forever. Repent of your Mickey Mouse god before it's too late.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Why do you think Paul was sitting in prison when he wrote this? It was because he started riots with his preaching... something that will never happen to you, unless God changes your heart.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Proverbs are general statements that should be followed, but they don't rule out exceptions when the greater good is required. The greater good of contending for the faith to save people from hell takes precedence, and until you see this, you'll continue to act like the child who gets upset when his parents discipline him for bad behavior. The issue of your salvation is worth doing what Samuel the Lamanite supposedly did, and preaching on the wall to a stubborn and lost people.
RSivulka 3 years ago
You're judging my heart that I don't have love for you or the rest of LDS. If you can do it, then so can I. What is righteous is following Christ and warning as many as possible. If you don't then you're either chicken or you really don't love others or you're just not personally called to it. None of which count against what God has laid on my heart.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Again, you're too beholden to your appearances. I preach Christ out of good will and love. I do this because I love God and LDS and don't want to see the latter go to hell. Thus I obey God's word when He tells me to contend earnestly for the faith once delievered to the saints (Jude 3).
RSivulka 3 years ago
Just throwing this out as a possibility... perhaps you've been brainwashed by our culture as well as your church to assume that when guys preach by yelling it's automatically hate.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Are you really comparing what Christ did in yelling at others and warning them about hell to unjust wars, murder, fornication and adultery? Again, I'm still waiting for a verse that says I can't do what Christ and His apostles and prophets did.
RSivulka 3 years ago
I'm not so much concerned about "showing" rather than "doing" love. Yes, just as I'd yell to wake others up from a house fire, I am loving crowds in yelling at them to get out of their cult fire before it's too late. Initially being waken from some guy yelling to get out might seem rude, but when you truly understand the situation, you see how justified it is. May God give you eyes to see and ears to hear before it's too late.
RSivulka 3 years ago
OK, so I did answer your question where Christ did this. That's what you wanted right? Now if you're saying that I can't use the mind He gave me to judge, then you're again being hypocritical and are judging me that I shouldn't judge. Further, I've already pointed out to you John 7:24. Did you read that too? He said for us to "judge righteous judgment." Just because Christ knows men's hearts is no reason for us to keep from warning people and preaching and rebuking as He's commanded us.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Ask for scriptures, and I'll give them. But I've already given the scripture--Mat. 23. Did you read it? Jesus said, "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are" (15).
RSivulka 3 years ago
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. ..."You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?" (Mt. 23:27-8, 33). Also keep in mind Jesus cleaning the temple out with whips.
RSivulka 3 years ago
You don't think Jesus ever raised His voice, but simply smiled in Mat. 23 and cleaning the temple out? Please. You don't know Jesus and you don't know what love is. Now give me a verse that says I should never raise my voice and warn others they are on their way to hell? BTW, again, I'm acting just like Samuel the Lamanite in your Book of Mormon. You have a double standard, and you know you'd yell at a kid to get out of the street when a bus is coming. That's love; if you don't, it's hate.
RSivulka 3 years ago

RSivulka 3 years ago
Look, I'm not here to make friends. Again, it's not the venue. I know LDS are people whom Christ died for, and are made in God's image. My in-laws are LDS, and I love them and don't want to see them go to hell. I deal with them differently than I do other LDS in different situations. So if you want to deal with doctrine then I'm totally open for that. If you're going to continue to whine about how you don't "perceive" love (a feeling), then I'm done.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Again, whaaaaaaaa! I'm not going play the feelings game with you here. It's getting very old. This isn't the venue. If you want that go to MormonMommyWars[dot]com or oprah[dot]com. If you want to deal with arguments, then I'm totally willing to play and play fairly. Again, get past how disturbing this is perceived by you, and just deal with the content. You're using your feelings as a cop-out for dealing with the arguments, and God will hold you responsible for that.
RSivulka 3 years ago
How about growing up, putting your feelings aside, stoping your whining, and really listening to the content of what I say in the video for starters? After that, then put your feelings aside, and go to the web site provided--MormonInfo[dot]org--and look at the right side of the chart on the Home page to see what Christians believe. You can also put your feelings aside and look at my comments to others below. But if my preaching is just too disturbing for you, then keep your head in the sand.
RSivulka 3 years ago
If you think like most LDS do that becoming a "joint heir" means that we get to become gods to rule over other worlds like God rules over this one, then you miss the point about who God is by nature. He's always been God. So if we "become" gods, we are still humans. God isn't and never has been human (Hosea 11:9). We though will always remain human. This is like when a dog receives an inheritance. It doesn't magically leave dogness and becomes human. It becomes an exalted dog.
RSivulka 3 years ago
If one head of a Siamese twin talks to the other does that make them separate? God doesn't have a body or heads in His nature, but the point is that you can have a distinction without separateness. LDS need to think more carefully about this. For LDS there was a time when the Heavenly Father wasn't the Father, since He hadn't impregnated a wife yet. This is blasphemous to Christianity since the members of the Trinity are eternally "inseparable."
RSivulka 3 years ago
RSivulka 3 years ago
You might also take this matter up with God due to all the verses I've already given you as on divine pedagological methodology. You refused to address those biblically. Isa. 55:10-11 says that God's word doesn't return void.
RSivulka 3 years ago
One other thing here. You proved your own argument wrong. The video attracted your attention. You posted comments to interact with me. And you even modified your belief somewhat on being critical. I take that as a positive, in which you are listening to me even if you think I'm a jerk.
RSivulka 3 years ago
I hold to Romans 8; I just don't distort it as you do. I've already wrote an FAQ on this: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/bible-passages/heir-all-romans-8-17-and-32
RSivulka 3 years ago
So, who do you worship? Jesus Christ? or His Father that He was praying to as in the whole chapter of John.17...? Read, study & learn from the whole chapter & understand who Jesus was praying to. Trinitarianism is Catholic & not biblical at all, and the whole Protestant-christian movement like you fell for it. Now it seem like we (LDS.Church) understand the Holy Bible more than you do.
Again, there is only One True God that Jesus prays & worships...His/our Father 'who art in heaven'
leSavaii 3 years ago
You should understand what we believe before you make claims that it's not biblical. I also wrote an FAQ on how Jesus prays to His Father, not a separate God: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/philosophy-and-theology/how-can-jesus-be-one-being-father-when-jesus-prays-father The Book of Mormon title page calls Jesus "the eternal God." So you've got at least 2 gods. If the Father is the only true God, then you'd have to say Jesus is a false god.
RSivulka 3 years ago
It seems that you're still trying your best to defend a man-made belief, that some Catholic priest(s) dreamed up. Again, trinitarianism is not biblical. Jesus never prayed to himself. From you Holy Bible "...O Father, gloryfy thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was" (John.17:5) These are two separate beings in two separate places talking. FYI Jesus is one of the three separated-members of the Godhead. Can figure?
leSavaii 3 years ago
You obviously never read the FAQ otherwise you'd understand that most Christians are not modalists and think that Jesus prays to Himself. He prays to His Father, but that doesn't make Him a "separate" God as LDS think. Sides of triangles are "distinct" from angles of triangles, but you're never going to "separate" them. Wherever you have one you have the other. Mormonism is not biblical since they are polytheists.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Again, kids who are disciplined don't immediately perceive love. Similarly LDS who get rebuked don't immediately see love. Sometimes they convert and then they see the love. Problem is LDS are blind. I've tried many times to speak to LDS in other venues and LDS continue to stick their heads in the sand. LDS continue to sin by devaluing God in making Him something other than the Creator of literally everything outside Himself. May God give you eyes to see and ears to hear before it's too late.
RSivulka 3 years ago
QUESTION: Again, which God that you're talking about? God the Father....? Or God the Son, Jesus Christ, whom God the Father sent to this world? These are two distinct beings.
Your God's image was changed in Nicea by the Catholic priests...that he (your god) is so huge that he (your god) covers the entire universe & yet so tiny that he (your god) can can actually live in your heart. Thats the Holy Father's Catholicisms.
*Jesus prays to one God & thats His & our Heavenly Father too.
leSavaii 3 years ago
Just because the person's are distinct doesn't entail that they are "separate" gods. The Bible doesn't teach that. Instead Jesus taught that there's "only 1 true God" (John 17:3). The creeds are based on what the Bible clearly teaches. LDS are polytheists and the Bible isn't. Repent before it's too late.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Well I'm being critical too. I just try to do it to as many people as possible, and sometimes that requires yelling. Sorry you can't see the love, but my heart here is clean before the Lord. Love isn't always perceived by those it is given to--sort of like when kids are disciplined. Love demands it, but kids think the folks hate them at the time. Also if Samuel the Lamanite can do it from the wall, then I can do it from the fence. Do you think Samuel was unloving/hypocritical for yelling?
RSivulka 3 years ago
So you are criticizing me. I'm very longsuffering with LDS. That's why I don't stick guns to their heads to make them do what I want. If your kid is playing in the street, you yell at him to get him out as quickly as possible. If a crowd is going to hell I want as many to hear as possible, so that's why I yell. You're too short-sighted to see how love works (read Matthew 23). In Isaiah 58:1 God tells Isaiah to lift up his voice as a trumpet. That's love.
RSivulka 3 years ago
I'm not sure you understand the definition of "hypocritical." Yes it's me preaching here. I consistently preach as 2 Timothy 4:2 tells me to.
RSivulka 3 years ago
LDS scripture teaches that not only is there "the Only Begotten of the Father," but there are also "begotten sons and daughters unto God" and these may grow into gods with "all power" (D&C 76:23-4 and 132:20).
RSivulka 3 years ago
Of course the Son was with the Father in the beginning, since they both make up, along with the Holy Spirit, the only Being of God there is. God creates, not begets, Adam. What's un-biblical is making them into a team of 3 separate gods united only in their purpose and nature they share. It's also un-biblical to teach that every human is literally "begotten," not created, of God and Heavenly Mum or Mothers in a pre-earth life.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Catholics don't treat Protestants that way anyway, and they realize they both hold to what C. S. Lewis called "Mere Christianity." Mormonism doesn't, since they are polytheists. If you think my correcting is a form of persecution, then you make light of the real persecution the early Mormons went through, and you're a bigger baby than I thought you were.
RSivulka 3 years ago
All Christian groups (Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox) hold to what I'm preaching here. Cults like Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Moonies, etc. deny the Triune God of the Bible.
RSivulka 3 years ago
No blind eye. The child was the only one born of this woman. It wasn't that she had a dog or a cat. Humans beget humans, and this was the only one she had. God begets God, and He's the only One He has. You and I are not begotten sons of God and will never grow up to become gods to exclusively rule other worlds as God does this one. That's what's un-biblical.
RSivulka 3 years ago
You don't understand the Bible's doctrine of God existing eternally as 3 Persons. One of those persons began working through another form or nature 2000 years ago. That form is distinct from the form He operated through from eternity. You should really read some of my FAQ's so I don't have to repeat myself: mormoninfo[dot]org/news-info/faqs/philosophy-and-theology/how-can-jesus-be-one-being-father-when-jesus-prays-father
RSivulka 3 years ago
Just because you see one instance of me protesting doesn't entail that this is all I protest to. I defend Christianity against all the cults who limit Jesus to simply the nature of a man. See my CourageousChristiansUnited[dot]com.
RSivulka 3 years ago
You are here confusing the 2 natures of Christ. In one nature He was created. In His other nature He was never created, but was the Creator of literally everything outside Himself.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Christians of course believe that Jesus was the only begotten. "Monogenes" shows that Jesus has the nature of the Father. "Genes" is referring a genus or kind. Dogs beget dogs, cats beget cats, and God begets God. Since God is eternally God in His nature (Ps. 90:2), if He begets Someone, then that someone must be eternally God as well. This is why the Greek in John 1:18 calls Jesus "the only begotten God." He's not a separate God, but He's the 2nd Person of the only God there is (Jn. 17:3).
RSivulka 3 years ago
Since Jesus created Adam, and Adam in Genesis was created by God, and God creates everything "alone" (Isa. 44:24), then Jesus is God. Notice that Jesus "created" Adam; He didn't "beget" Him. Whatever you create isn't of your nature, but whatever you beget is. Jesus is the only one begotten of the Father. Thus, we don't have the nature of God, and will never be gods to rule over other worlds. We are instead "man" by nature and "God is not a man" (Hosea 11:9) in His nature.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Again, this is irrelevant to Hunter's point that Lucifer is the spirit brother of Jesus. This cheapens Jesus, since the Bible teaches that God created literally everything. Jesus as God created Lucifer. Jesus created us too. We all freely chose to become evil. Don't blame our sin on God. Finally, if "only begotten" to you means Jesus was the only one physically born by God, then what about Adam? LDS don't understand the biblical word for "only begotten."
RSivulka 3 years ago
Of course He grew as a man, which began 2,000 years ago. But as God, He never grew, since He was always God. There's no problem with the Omnipotent creating another nature or attachment to work through. Christians have room for both natures, and unfortunately Mormons only have room for the weak or finite nature.
RSivulka 3 years ago
This is irrelevant, since the issue is that Christians deny that Jesus had to do anything or follow anyone to become God. He always was God. Of course LDS think Jesus perfectly followed the Father. So what? Your Jesus had to grow up into a god while other true gods were already in existence ruling over other worlds. Blasphemy--see John 17:3.
RSivulka 3 years ago
RSivulka 3 years ago
The LDS Jesus didn't create Lucifer, the planet they were born on as spirit brothers, their spirit-grandfather's planet, matter or intelligence, since the D&C says they are eternal. Since God's always been God as Ps. 90:2 says, He didn't need to score a wife to become a god for us. I never said that Jesus denied His Father's will, but again, Jesus has always been God just as much as the Father and Spirit.
RSivulka 3 years ago

If Mormons would just study their own history from real historians like Quinn, they would see just how MAN-made their religion truly is.
chriscb 3 years ago
Oh and about your shouting. You might try a megaphone next time. It will save you from straining your voice. I suspect you might have had some difficulting talking the next day. If you're going to preach to the crowds, do it the smart way. No use spitting in the wind.
chriscb 3 years ago
You need a permit in Manti to use a megaphone. I don't think it's likely I could get it during this event. I usually only preach for the last 1/2 hour right before the pageant starts.
RSivulka 3 years ago
I've got it, but haven't read it yet. As I understand him, Quinn still thinks Smith was a prophet of God though.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Well if Samuel the Lamanite can yell to the crowds from the wall in the Book of Mormon as well as depicted at this Manti pageant, then I can do the same thing. I have nothing but love for LDS. My in-laws are LDS. They all need to repent or they will freely go to hell for eternity. Believe it or not, I love you too and want you to spend eternity with me in God's presence. Someone needs to warn LDS before it's too late.

sorry to spam the comments section. I wanted to post a few of our Holy Scriptures showing we believe Jesus the Christ is God. I have many more!
omiolo 3 years ago
Unlike the Jesus of the Bible, the LDS Jesus is a weak god, since he didn't literally create everything outside himself. He didn't create Lucifer or our spirits, since we are all younger siblings in a pre-earth life. Jesus didn't create the world his heavenly father or spirit grandfather grew up on. Jesus didn't create the planet he was born on as a spirit child. Jesus didn't create matter or intelligences since those things are eternal (D&C 93:29-33 & 131:7-8). False Christ (Mt. 24:24)!
RSivulka 3 years ago
RSivulka,
actually it is your christ that is weak.
The Mormon Christ is the Savior of the World.
D&C 43:34 The EVANGELICAL christ could only save a few elite EVANGELICALS! Which seems very narcissitic and self serving to me!
omiolo 3 years ago
Of course the Jesus of the Bible could save everyone, but then you'd complain that He took away everyone's free agency by making them robots. But humans by nature are a children of wrath (Eph. 1:1-10), and most according to Jesus want go to destruction (Mt. 7:13-14). You should be grateful than any get saved. I'd be grateful if you repent, so that I can spend eternity with you in God's presence. And God and I would rather you come willingly than not at all.
RSivulka 3 years ago
"then you'd complain that He took away everyone's free agency by making them robots"
oh...how little you understand of the Plan of Salvation!!!
"humans by nature are a children of wrath (Eph. 1:1-10"
I think that scripture is talking about EVANGELICALS, the ones that SCREAM at families and children!
"You should be grateful than any get saved."
actually everyone that comes to earth gets saved, NOT just the elite EVANGELICALS!!
omiolo 3 years ago
Read the verses I gave. I'd rather believe them than you on this issue of who gets saved. I know LDS hold to free agency. You don't get the point I was making. I don't think you "want" to get it. That's your free agency, and that's why the Jesus of the Bible loves you enough to let you go where you want for eternity. You hate him. I'll continue to love and scream at people to get out of the street when there's oncoming traffic.
RSivulka 3 years ago
" I know LDS hold to free agency"
there was really NOTHING 'free' about that agency.

Rsivulka,
You are right on ONE item in your 20+ posts.
Your christ is NOT our Christ who is Jesus!!.
omiolo 3 years ago
My Christ was born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago. My Christ has 2 natures since that is what the Bible teaches. That's why we can exalt Him above anything imaginable and acknowledge that He also has a finite attachment that He may operate through when He wants. My Christ, since He is the 2nd Person of God, isn't a schizo. He's in an eternal relationship with 2 others--Father and Spirit. LDS devalue Jesus by making him merely a man who was exalted to a divine office--one obtained by many others.
RSivulka 3 years ago
Further, the LDS Jesus hasn't always been in a relationship with the Father and Spirit as such, since the LDS Jesus had to wait until Elohim impregnated his wife in a pre-earth life. So for LDS, the Father hasn't always been the Father, and the Son hasn't always been the Son. Blasphemy, not because of the creeds, but because of what the Bible plainly teaches.
