like this video so much. I used to stay in kamloops 5 months ago and really miss it. downtown is great area, unfortunately I didn't buy anything much while there. how driving at that area looks comfortable and it can't be expressed in words :).

I really like this video. I live in Scotland but was born and raised in Kamloops. I've not been there in years, but judging by your video, not alot has changed! Good memories though!

My biggest bitch though is the housing costs, the local economy does not provide the income base in which to buy a house here in town. I won't pay 375 for a house that was built in the 70's and has had fuck all done to it since. Most if not all homes here are over priced by 100 grand at least.

The shopping is the shits, Walmart Costco ? Whats the point of this town ? No culture other than weed or retirees. The clubs lick balls and TRU is now having trouble filling seats due to high living cost

Quite frankly there is no money here. The job market is a fucking joke, no culture to speak of unless you like sitting on your ass smoking weed. Housing is so overpriced it's just criminal, the local media won't look into it because of ad dollars. The cops are tyrants who if they see a young person driving a nice car they harass the shit out of them. The night life is just pitiful, I thought Kelowna was stuck up but at least the people there are pretty and stuck up.

Thanks. I grew up there & remember those street scenes pretty well. Also remember going up to Nicola Lake for fishing & swimming. Can't forget Lac Le Jeune for absolute freezing temperatures in mid August.

Yes I do agree with iron kamloops is such a luscious city full of adventure and excitment I live and kamloops and almost every summer day hear a motor cycle. Ps we like are bikes.

Ah Kamloops...best city in Canada. Close to Vancouver, nice and relaxed, beautiful mountains and lakes, and nice weather in winter, also nice hot summers (which I love). I used to live there. I'm in a much worse place right now, but I always think of Kamloops and I'll be back there someday.

just an update from a 'Loops resident, the Kmart here left over a decade ago, when I was a little kid, like in 1995 or so..... there is a Walmart now....

oh and yes, there the has been hit pretty hard from the recession, tons of jobs disappeared, revenue down etc. Explains all the for sale and for rent signs.... economy is awful
