1. CO2 can be managed - it takes ludricous amounts of effort to stop co2 though - plus you make nice cash from co2 tax
2. The sun cant be stopped or fixed (if its a problem, not just a cycle its going through- problem is the cycle could get worse - or could last millenia.) its there - nothing can be done about it. - plus is gonna be frecking hard to convince people to pay - sun tax

Uhm sunspots are the cause of the increased solar radiation.....
Sunspots are basically magnetic storms happening on the suns surface, that increase the amount of radiation the sun pumps out.
So sunspot activity, and solar output are basically the same thing.

My guess is if we look at your premise and include the data on changes of earth's magnetic field in the last few decades, the picture is probably right on. That would not explain the changes on other planets and moons of the solar system, but it would be a counter argument to the CO2 stupidities we hear on MSM....

Its obvious there is a connection between sunspot and earths Climate..thats part of it is totally separate and unaffected by whats is happening with other planets, co2 on the other hand CAN'T be directly observed to be affecting the earths climate in the same way sunspot are...the co2 theory is a very flimsey one...

Fluctuations in the sun do affect global climate. No one disputes that.
But you guys are just silly. Solar output still only fluctuates between 1360 and 1366 watts per square meter.
Not to mention, solar cycles usually run 20-year cycles. That can't account for the increase of global temperatures over the past 200 years.

All of the planets in the solar system have and elliptical orbit with an eccentricity > 0. This means that the planets are NOT "always a fixed distance from the sun."
