  • i followed all the steps in this video but when i play the "video", it only gives me the audio, and the screen is blank.

  • PLEASE GET BACK TO ME. COULD REALLY USE YOUR HELP & ADVICE WITH GETTING THE (H264) DECODER TURNED ON FOR FFDSHOW. I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG OR HOW TO GET IT ENABLED. THANKS FOR THIS TECH. ALL ELSE IS WORKING GOOD.

  • HI THANKS FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS. ALL IS GOING GOOD FOR ME, BUT I WAS WONDERING HOW DO I ENABLE THE (H264) DECODER IN FFDSHOW? I CHECKED ON HOW TO DO IT, BUT DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING WRONG. COULD NOT FIND ANY CONFIGURATION PAGE OR ANYTHING? ALL ELSE IS GOOD THOUGH.

  • @Maxflamehead

I use format factory as well great and fast

  • or you could save all this hassle and just get format factory and let it do everything itself even subtittles and audio streams...and its freeware from ebay..

  • Izumi Kato - KOTOBA

  • what songs are used here?? specially the last 2nd part ^^ hehe

  • I think it's Innocence from Shuffle!

  • How do I convert aac to mp3?

  • How come the timing of audio and subs is not ruined?

  • hey, i cant get AVC2AVI to run on vista, says it has stopped working =/ anyone else have this problem when trying to mux?

  • run it as xp compatible (right mouseclick > settings)

  • I'm having some trouble with this.

    VirtualDubMod didn't come with with TextSub 2.2.3. ;_;

The audio codec extracted from the MKV was an *.ogg and not an *.mp3, and the video wasn't *.h264, it was *.avi.

Do I need to do anything different because of this?

  • :D thank you very much

  • Hate this music....video is great though

  • thanks for the vid...although a bit to fast, should've slowed down a bit...i think

  • Hey, I have a problem :(

I did everything that you said, but when it's time to add a the .mp3 file in VirtualDubMod, I can't, because when I Demuxed the MKV, I got an AAC file, and not a MP3 file, what do I do?

  • change the file path to mp3.

  • Comment removed

  • where did you get the gui for acv2avi

  • lol u got the same music as me...

anyway, nice vid u showed me a new way of converting h264 mkvs streams to xvid avis

  • Great stuff. 1 question: I can't play mkv on powerdvd 7.2. tried changing the name and installed hiili media splinter, but still no luck. Can you help me with that plz? How do you change the file name that you are trying to play on powerdvd?

  • Woow Thanx to much , but why you don't add de Avi file to VirtualDubMod and don't create an avs file ???

    Waiting for ur answer

  • did u type anything into the command prompt?

  • @1:50, you loaded a h264 file, is that one a seperate file on your hd or one you extracted from the mkv in mkvextract???

  • forget i asked, i just figured out i need mkvtoolnix and mkvextract(gui) in the same directory to extract the video stream. If any one has the same problem, this should solve it.

  • What's the music? love it

  • Something doesn't seem to work, I followed everything exactly as shown except AVC2AVI doesn't show any kind of file when I browse for it. What did you do to show all the files?

  • hmm about this... I followed everything exactly as it was shown but I can't get AVC2AVI to do anything. The h264 file doesn't show up when I browse for it.

  • If it doesn't show up when you browse for it, then do *.* at the file input box.
