Discovered Trace two nights ago on Pandora and I haven't been able to stop listening to him. He really inspired me to blaze a bowl and pick up my guitar and start jamming again. Thanks for the post.

@rune2hko You do not push on the string, you just put you'r finger on frets (start by trying with 12th frets) then strum. Voila, harmonics! Now try on the fret they say to do it.
@rune2hko =Another way to get harmonics is called pinched harmonics, where you drag your strumming hand thumb across the string as you pluck it. You can move your strummin hand up and down the strings a bit to get different pitches out of the same string. This works better for an electric, but can still be used with an acoustic.
it's called artificial harmonics. just use your index finger to press down slightly on the string. have your thumb pluck the string 2 ftrets away. this is all right hand technique. and for chord harmonics he holds his index and middle finger together and slaps down on the 12th fret i believe.

or you can tap any string on the 12th, 7th, or 5th fret or place your finger anywhere and tap the same string 12, 7, or 5 frets away
