@3replybiz I liked the Sundays of 40 or 50 years ago, not because of religion (I'm not religious at all), but because life slowed down on Sundays - no people chasing off to the mall for their endless consumption. I think the powers that be want all the stores to be open on Sundays to promote sales for business and more taxes for the state.

@brushcreek42 I remember the Sundays of 30 years ago and they were so dull. Everything was shut and I couldn't wait for Monday, I found them maudlin and depressing to be honest. Shops have to open on a Sunday just to stay in business.

@Beznet Seeing as Bob's signature vocal/melodic sound was developed before the Velvets came along, it is unlikely. They may have been influenced by him though. Lou Reed said if he could have written any song, it would have been Idiot Wind.
