  • @heartsdeprived just under cook them to where the edges are lightly golden, and let them sit out to harden(the center), it will keep them chewy

    I'm 12 years old recently i've been using your recipe and they are AMAZING. But the dough is always very sticky. What am i doing wrong? the only thing im not using is veg. shortening only because its not available in my country.

  • @edinabhels thats probably happened cause you didnt follow the recipe XD. margarine is a good substitute for shortening if you cannot access it, just add an extra tablespoon or 2. good luck!

  • made these cookies today and they did turn out a bit on the doughy side. that being said, they were some of the most delicious doughy cookies i've ever had cause they were so light. trust the cinnamon, it adds the most unique flavour to the cookies! omnomnomnomnom

  • OMG, I made these today and they turned out DELICIOUS! Okay, I'll admit it, I burnt the first batch (:P), but they were wonderful!

    Although, instead of using chocolate chips, I took a bar of dark chocolate, cut it into 1mm pieces, and used two small chunks per cookie. BEST PART: The chocolate melted inside, and I had some gooey, chocolatey goodness. :D

    Well, they were soft at first, but as they cooled down, they turned crunchy :)

  • @familiee123 I tried them today :D they didnt look at all like laura's but it all matters in the taste right? ;) they were delicious! although mines after cooling were still crunchy on the outside and soft from the inside :) they were a big hit! i owe big thanks to laura!

  • These disappeared in seconds after they came out of the oven. My family said it tastes ALOT better than the store bought ones. I agree, and i'm really greatful to you for sharing all these wonderful recipes. Thank you so much Laura, and i'm going to continue watching your daily new videoes. I love them all.   • great recipe! the only thing id like to add is that i had to flatten them a bit before putting them in the oven so that they baked all the way through. i also added a cup of semi crushed walnuts and that made them extra delicious

  • I just want to say that these cookies are the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever made. I kept trying to make homemade chocolate chip cookies but I found most recipes to result in a flavourless cookie that had too fluffy or cakey a texture. These are fantastic; crisp and chewy in just the right measure, and they actually have flavour. Thank you for uploading this video!

  • i dont know why but i made it 2 times and both times it puffs up and it like cake inside, its not chewy or crispy

  • @OwlCityLove12 no you don't need cinnamon it was just her little twist on making chocolate chip cookies u don't need that white stuff that looks like butter either all you need is chocolate chips, sugar brown, sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract.
