Comedy is a very subjective so i wouldn't argue with that. Personally, i've yet to see a female comedian that i've found funny. I don't know why that is but women don't make me laugh!

i have no biased opinion against either female or male comedians but i'm sorry...this lady can NOT do stand up. the delivery has horribly off time and not enthusiastic at all. it was like she was too afraid of being rediculed to put herself out their and just tell the damn joke. the punch lines were rediculously generic also, i mean 'what do i fell like tonight?!' is not a proper punch line...and the people LAUGHED! i felt like i lost brain cells...*sigh* 1 star

women for the most part are only funny to other women (with very few exceptions) while good male comedians tend to just be gut funny regardless of sex. I think most material women bring up only other women can relate too while men tend to be funny on a more cerebral or gut level.

@farmgrade it actually has a lot to do with her being a woman. let me explain. since the dawn of time, men have always had to use their looks and/or their sense of humor to attract women(for the most part). the need or ability to be funny is tremendously less for women. if you can't make women laugh as a male than you are basically out of the evolutionary contest(most men are unattractive). women on the other hand don't need to be as funny. they just need to show up and men are already into them

yeah, in general, women are not nearly as funny as men. though the latest season of last comic standing has one of the view good ones, and luckily she doesnt always fall back on jokes about woman issues.
