So the moral is, if you run into Werner Herzog in a grocery store checkout, do not ask him: "paper or plastic?" You might end up with far more than you expect.
In the sequel, this retarded bag is harvested, from the vortex, by the US Office of Naval Research and heat-extruded into UV resistant plastic decking and floatation pontoons for at-sea operations platforms. This (so-called) "story" could have been told in 5 minutes (total) and produced by a HS student with a $300 camcorder and a $40 water housing (VholdR Contour). I can't believe that ALL these organizations and partners put their names on it. The V.O. is particularly sophomoric. wtf?
omg, this is so Amazing! Great, GREAT FILM! It means so much on so many different levels. Spirituality, relationships, courage and even recycling. I love it. Thanks for Posting! :)
Even tho I am a tree-hugger and a re-cycling advocate who uses green shopping bags, I am laughing out load at ALL the RESOURCES spent on this silly production. Cute? Yes. ... Educational? Marginally. ... But no real suggestion of final solutions.
... I mean ... I was in tears laughing at the credits and partners ! How many people does it take to chase a plastic bag around the block? I could have done this entire piece, myself, in one week ... total budget $2K (Cameras included).
