Compress videos without losing quality

this is great but then it compresses the size by like x8?!! but then its HD quality went down =/

What is the settings to reduce the compression so that the HD quality is still there and i still get like a fair x4 compression.

To be honest, as a complete beginner re: video compression, I couldn't tell what on earth was going on in this video. :( 2 bits of software; or 1? Were you merging files, or not? Which was the bit where you actually compressed something? What type of file was compressed if any? What qualities? :( Nope: totally lost. There were no instructions which was a shame considering there were two languages on screen. Nothing wrong with the music though. Can anyone reccomment me a full tutorial + software?

@shelyksit ummm... I´ll give you a tip, under the video there is a little button where you can mute the sound, kinda hard at the begining but with practice you could do wonderfull things with it. I can make a video tutorial if you can´t get it at all.

That's because it turns it into a RealPlayer file, you need to download RealPlayer to view it. About the editing part... I would edit it before I render it then use this program to shrink it. (:
