It is real bad that these jobs that people need desparately in the US are sent overseas. We need them and alot of call center jobs are entry level and hire people that are disabled and challenged. Because of NAAFTA this happened. It happened to me in 2009 where MSI sent my job to an area and got folks for $5.20 an hour after being in Portland for 26 years. I lost almost everything and it it was not for me being on housing I would not have anything. These people took our jobs.

I'm a call center trainer and if I ever encountered this kind of scene (and I have encountered this many times) you can be sure of two things: - it would never ever happen again, and

- at least one person, if not a few, would be having a talk with the call center management and possibly fired.

Call center reps are a dime a dozen, they can easily replace someone who is more trouble than they're worth. Stupid people.

This company doesn't invest any of the money that they are making from Verizon, Ford, General Motors, and other large corporations into their US locations. Particularly the one in Farmington Hills, MI. Some people just bounce from one call centre to another to get paid for the training. In India some people treat it like paid English lessons.
