  • hey NOPN, do you know who it was that came 2nd in this race?:)

Also I find it weird how gatlin only took over him at around 85m

  • noo the new record is usian bolt 9.58

  • lol

  • just under 1 meter i think

  • My uncle runs 100 meters backwards in 8.8 after eating cheesy nachos. They make him super fast for some reason. Something to do with chemical cheese bondage and antihistimines in the lactosant vertebrae.

  • yeah i've heard of that it works with barbeque potato chips also.

  • How much distance is there between a 9.76 and the 10 second mark?

  • If two people raced and one ran 10.00 and the winner 9.76 the guy coming second would be regarded by those watching as having been "thrashed" its about 5-6 meters

  • like 4-5 feet

  • the new record is 9.69.

  • @blckvec 9.58

  • @FastRunner1994 soon to be faster :)

  • Real shame he took drugs, Its becomming a regular thing in this sport which is a real shame.

  • Heroin isn't common in racing, though. But hockey is having a huge heroin problem lately.

  • A combination of some enhancers and great genes period. We just have to accept roids in Sports in todays society. Michael Johnson was on roids then 2

  • nie przepadam za tymi, ktorzy oszukuja...

  • i think Gatlin should ask for a B sample of the steroid testing like marion jones did and she got cleared

  • He was on juice and even if he wasnt, who cares he has been on juice and thats cheating.

  • I can't believe people are saying Gatlin was on drugs when tieing the World Record for the 100m. I don't recall anyone accusing Maurice Greene or Donovan Bailey of drugs when either of them used to hold the World Record in the same event.

  • they never tested positive but gatlin did

  • lol he was on the juice, btw olusoji fasuba who came second technically won the race because gatlin was on drugs and he set a new african record with 9.85.

  • good on olusoji

  • And your proof for this is what? Was it truly shown that Gatlin used steroids in order to win the 100m final?

  • The proof is in his postive A & B samples he may not necessarily have been using them in that race but he tested positive for them in a previous race and was probably using then to train at the time and its a solid fact that they help you to train better and this is an illegal practice. He tested postive on April 22 and did this race on may 12. Also not the 1st time hes tested positive for a banned substance. If he has the pace to break the WR y does he need to take banned substances?

  • Whatever, I think you're saying it out of jealousy.

  • wat's there 2 b jealous of? Powell did a 9.77 and was clean, dats why im not talking on him.

  • Yeah but really people are making way to big a deal outta this seeing that tim Montgomery Used and got a world record too....AND HOW COME NO ONE EVER WATCHES THE RUSSIAN WOMEN! NUFF SAID!

  • great race

  • Justin Gatlin is the man

  • ..that uses steroids

  • That does not look 9.77 it looks more 9.96

  • his record is gone as he is a cheat

  • do your homework before you accuse someone of cheating

  • ey guys I CAN DO 8 SEC ON MY 360 :P

  • too bad he got caught doping...he may lose this record!

  • He did it when on drugs, the world record should to Asafa Powell outright.

  • Gatlin's performance in Qatar was quickly ratified by the IAAF, which meant he must have provided two mandatory negative tests before it could be confirmed.

    http://www.sportinglife.com/others/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=others/06/08/16/ATHLETICS_Gatlin.html

Gatlin was clean when he ran the world record. I believe he always has been and I believe he still is. He did not use steroids. All of the facts don't add up.

  • didn't they say like eariler this year he got caught for drug use for that day? and it was given back to the other american?

  • i can do 9.69 with your mom

  • lmao that wasnt necesary but its hillarious

  • Hey, it's a Toyota. What do you expect?

  • "I can do a 6.96 on my toyota" hrrm thats a pretty slow 100m time.

  • you can do your dog.

  • shoot. i can do a 9.1 if im being chased. lol jk jk

  • notice their all black... Hmmm i wonder why they run so fast. :)

  • well brotha, "blacks" develop lean quick reaction muscles(normally used for speed) more than any other race...

  • coz the slow ones are in jail

    just kidding :P

  • I Can Do 9.53 When Im Running Away From My Dad After I Stole His Jenna Jameson DVD and Scratched It.

  • I can do a 6.96 on my toyota

  • hahahahahah Get In.

  • i'm sure anybody can do a 9.69 60m

  • Lmfao. Owned Dude.

  • DIDNT BREAK THE WORLD RECORD, its a tie

  • updated the description

a tie is still a world record though =D

  • Yes its the world record we are talking about, of course, but he did not break it.

  • There's a timing error. Gatlin's time was 9.766 in which the timer should have rounded his time to 9.77 which is tied for the world record with Asafa Powell. Timers should add the thousandth decimal because its getting close between sprinters. Instead of displaying 9.77 they should display 9.766. Powell and Gatlin will race each other in London. I think they should race and whoever wins gets the world record.

  • Yeh Man Yeh.

  • i am talking about Fasuba the guy that im proved his personal best by a quarter of a second in 1day..i aint buying it..asafa made sport of him in CW games and now hes running 9.84? fishy fishy fishy.. i believe the wind gauge was fucked up

  • 1.Personal Best of 10.09 to 9.84 in 1day not buying it

2.moving from not even being in the top100 to being one of the 5th fastest men in existance in 1day not buying it

3.. lol juss look at the rest of the track season u'll all see what i'm talking about

  • i'm sure powell will come up as well..and beat gatlin at his own game!

  • NOPN, I was wondering when you would put this clip up! Just yesterday, my boy J-Gat beat Asafa Powell's world record just hours after our track meet. I can't believe that his predictions would have come so early in the season!

Justin Gatlin is now officially a man who must be remembered as a ledgend in years to some.

  • Now nobody can argue about Asafa Powell.

Gatlin is the Olympics Champion, World Champion and World Record Holder.

    'Safa got nothin' on Gatlin!

  • get off his sack........he is pretty good though..lol

  • yeah

  • Yeah he was miles ahead at the 3 second point and Gatlin just stormed past him.

  • The guy in 2nd place was pretty close. What was his time?

  • He is Olusoji A. Fasuba and he finished at 9.84, new african record.
