SSC is shit compared to this. The F1 is a true legend. Sure the SSC is faster in top speed, but it's a decade newer, has a 6.2 ltr Biturbo engine (F1 hast 6.1 N/A) with twice the hp and it only manages to be 20 kph faster? Haha, what a joke! An F1 with 1300hp would do at least 450 kph. And any skidpad comparison is useless, beacause the tires from 1994 can't be as good as current ones (the reason why the CGT is slower than the ZR1 at the Nürburgring).

The Zonda R is the new McLaren F1 GTR IMO... cept w/ 100 more HP and alot more modern :D

What are the G's a Mclaren could generate on the skippad? .88 G's. What does the SSC generate? 1.0 G's.

And, the SSC is lighter and had about 400 more BHP. So in a straight line, the Mclaren has no hope either.

The Mclaren is an amazing car. I love it. But just because I love it doesn't mean I'll deny the fact that the SSC would destroy it in a race. I'd still rather have the McLaren. Even though the SSC is a faster car, and has luxuries the McLaren doesn't. Like GPS, CD player, etc

it's also 300kg lighter than the ssc, and purpose built for the track

No, it doesn't do 2 G's in cornering. The Viper ACR held the Nurburgring record for a while, and it couldn't pull 2 G's on the skidpad. The '95 and '96 F1-GTR's were de-tuned to only 600bhp to meet racing regulations. And the '96 was only 100kg lighter than the base model. Base was 2,341 lbs, and the SSC Ultimate Aero 2 will have 1,350bhp and weight is 2,646 lb. The McLaren F1 wouldn't stand a chance.
