@appliona An easier way is to bar strings 1&2 on the first fret (using your index finger). On the second fret, put your middle finger on string 3. Third fret, ring finger on string 4. Mute strings 5&6 w/your thumb if you can.

he might have it tuned a different way

all guitars sound slightly different. he could be using different gauge strings, it could have a bigger/smaller body, the cutout shape could be affecting the sound, it could be the type of wood the guitar is made from, etc etc etc. there's loads of things that can affect how guitars sound, so probably his is just a little different to yours.

Pointer: First fret, 2nd string

Middle: Second fret, 3rd string

Ring: Third fret, 5th string

Pinky: Third fret, 4th string. Hope this helped.

It is.... an F chord! He does it in a much easier fashion, removing the need for a bar chord because he is awesome.

Ring finger on 5th string, 3rd fret

Pinky finger on 4th string, 3rd fret

Middle finger on 3rd string, 2nd fret

Index finger bars 2nd and 1st strings, on 1st fret

Much easier. isnt it. If you watched any of his other videos, he explains how, and why

Listen. they sound the exact same,except the 6th string isnt barred at the 1st fret. Nobody will ever know.
