I just looked at a 2700 series 100-selection (world map) for sale in my area. Someone I know is likely to get it, and if she does, I'd like to help with the repairs. The current owner says a cable used to pull the record back into the carousel has broken; it is stuck with a record in the mech. Would you know how to fix that?
Those are some nice jukeboxes, and they all seem to be for vinyl records too, no CD's. I'd pick vinyl instead of Cd's any day. I like the song, is it playing from one of the jukeboxes?
Thanks for your comments! The record playing is actually not from one of the jukeboxes but was recorded from a Newcomb school record player...it is a 78 RPM record.
We are working on a Wurlitzer right now at our shop, it is a 2900 model...very similar to the 2800 and 3000 shown here. I'm sorry but I never took any videos of the jukeboxes shown here and they have gone back to their owners.
well i mean in the future if you ever get to repair an early 1940's Wurlitzer 1050? i think it is! those are like the most beautiful jukeboxes i ever saw!

We got a very unique jukebox:
The insides are from a 1950s Seeburg and the box itself is a melodie 100 from the 80s^^
The Insides of the 1980s went bad and the previous owner put the seeburg parts in it
