The best thing you can do after something like this is to get back on the ice. When my best friend died 3 years ago the only place I could go to feel at home was the rink. As soon as your skates hit the ice its like you've entered a private sanctuary.

I mean, you don't pick your family. You do pick your wife. It's bad enough to lose a parent or sibling, but to stake your entire future on everything and lose it all is devastating. I have no idea what she wanted from Taylor aside from their lives together, but if this isn't motivation to win something big, I don't know what is. With Luc and Carly behind us, bring it on.
