Decent song but, what happened to having a good, compelling, creative music video? Could this be any more generic or idea-less? A small budget shouldn't mean "small idea." What this says to me as a viewer is that you as a band are boooooring.

Sounds like you're trying to act like you "know" something. If you knew anything at all you'd probably know that the bands have little to do with their music videos. One band doesn't simply grab the nearest camera and start making their own music video. There are directors that should be to blame for a mediocre at best music video. Not the musicians themselves.

Good bands, being respective creative entities, have much to do with their own music videos. It represents them to the core. If a band has a blah music video, I must assume they "Ok'd" that blah video..agreed on the director and his concept, and allowed it into the world. Any artist with creative credibility would insist on influence over their own music video. It is you sir, or madam, who is confused.

You also have to take into consideration that their label likely has the decision to "ok" the video or not. And since when does a band have to be any more creative beyond their music? Bands make music. Not music videos.
