The Comic betrayal had a poor ending. It left the scene where Kevin and Tron was having a discussion together on the streets, where Clu interrupts and asked "Am i the creator of the perfect system."

Its art style is great but the story is weak.

Hmm..... I have to say, I am glad that Clu was able to catch Tron and reprogram him.

Gives quite a good plot twist with a bunch of angst! XD Angst is good.

Can't wait till the next movie! (Cause I've heard theres a totally of 5 tron movies, the next one is the 3rd one)

I'm confused about the part where in "Betrayal" Tron escapes and leaves but in the movie Legacy, we see that Tron is killed by CLU and Flynn escapes. Is this a flaw in the story line?

@hellsingmongrel yea but in the book, Tron left as a "good guy" but in the movie we see him in the games as Rinzler fighting Sam. unless the game Tron: Evolution which is also before the movie explains it further

@xxxxjcvxxxx in the movie clu does indeed capture tron and he doesn't run away and i guess thats when he gets re programed as rinzler. so the comic book is kinda wrong?

While I was listening to you explain the graphic novel my respect for Tron grew even more. I hate critics. They make it seem as if Legacy was poor story telling. Tron was great. Not just visually but story wise. It made plenty of sense. A part 2 is possible but it would really have to exceed it predecessor. Especially with the story telling. Thanx for this video. End of line man.....

@boygenius7 Yeah, I feel the same way about the critics. What they don't seem to realize is there's so much more going on underneath the surface of the actual move. The story is like an iceberg. There's so much more underneath that you can look for.

Ah man, I hadn't even heard of this, I have got to pick it up! You know what kind of bugs me about Legacy, though? They retconned TRON 2.0. I liked TRON 2.0, totally underrated. If you ever get the chance, you should try and review some of the 2.0 figures.

As for TRON and Rinzler... I kind of wanna say that Clu recreates TRON and that becomes Rinzler, kind of like how Flynn recreated Clu. I just can't see TRON going to the proverbial dark side.

See now I think Rinzler is Tron. I can't find any where that says that Tron actually died, Rinzler has the "T" pattern. In the trailer for the game Tron Evolution where it says: " You WILL have allies." And the narrator sounds like Bruce Boxleitner. The figure looks like Rinzler but in white. I just don't see the title charater not being in the movie, or being the bad guy.

not tosound to geeky or whatever but it's actually not a vortex..it's water, the sea of simulation, similar to the body of water flynn, ram, and tron drank from in the first film
