  • He has 2 months left, and he hasn't done SHIT in Iraq.

  • He's been in office for over a month now. In the name of openess and tarnsparency can anyone tell me the one to two brigades that have been pulled out of Iraq and the next two that are being pulled out this month?

  • He is nothing more then a talking head.

  • Get us the holy hell out of there! We're in debt so badly because of this god damned war! STOP IT!!!!!!!

Come on Obama, your in the home stretch! I know you'll win.

  • See, now I kinda like watching a politician lie to your face and in front of the world's cameras. I find it refreshing. He's perfectly clear 16 months unless the situation changes on the ground. Same as Bush's current orders, same as McCain's plan. So what? Nothing will make Bush look better to history, America, and the world, than a President Obama. GO O!

  • the last point i am going to make NOW THAT EVERYONE INCLUDING LIBERAL TERRY MORAN SEES.. SOME ONE WHO DOES WELL WHEN NOT CORNERED BUT YET VERY INEXPERIENCED.WATCH THE INTERVIEW!!!ISNT HE ALSO THE MUSLIM FAG WHO SAID 3000 OF OUR MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN DIED IN VAIN??TELL THAT TO THEM AND THIER FAMILY..THIS WAS SHOT JULY 3RD.. THE TERRY MORAN INTERVIEW WAS ON THE 21ST OR SO THE SAME FUCKIN MONTH. PAAALEASE.KISS MY GO TO HELL AMERICAN HATER!

  • Lying elitist snake in the grass. Just like Bush said he wasn't into 'nationbuilding'

  • Go Obama !!!!!!! Obama '08

  • HE IS LYING SHEEPLE

  • fuck!!!!, how can the media be more attack dogs than this, holly shit, the war is wrong, lets get them out, point, if it takes a little longer, that is unpredictable, uncertain, lets just do the right desicions when they come

  • Ve3?! Are you there??

    Hope he's okay.. Gosh!

  • Never heard anyone before even mention that the Commander in Chief is to tell the Generals what their mission is..

while we had Bush and have McCain saying they'll support whatever Petraeus says ta do-

WHAT THE?! Noone elected Gen. P to lead this country of ours!!!!!!!

  • These reporters are meatheads.

    But it's cool to see them try to trip him up and watch Obama in a presidential stance;

    remaining consistent

with the big picture in mind-

    What a guy!

    Obama '08

  • obama fliped floped on fisa and campaign financing, but not on iraq. he is very coherent on iraq.

  • Is he coherent? OR is he constructing (or the people that write his speeches)his sentences precisely to fool you?

  • Tell me the difference between his stance before and his stance now..

  • Did a monkey write your comment just now? If so, teach it to use correct syntax.

  • No, teach your monkey to comprehend meaning..

I'd paraphrase, but really.. gabr already said it.

    Perfect English, no-

But if you've paid attention to the clip

    or the war

    or the media

or Obama.. you should understand perfectly-

  • Thanks for this headline. Obama has been constant on Iraq. The "Drive by Media" is spending its credibility on these lies. Day one Obama said "We must be as careful getting out of Iraq as we were careless getting it." He took heat in the primary for his reasoned and conditional position on a Iraqi withdrawal from Bill Richardson who said "I believe we need to withdraw from Iraq this calendar year." and others. He should get credit.

Look at what he said yourselves. No change.

  • FAIL

  • Yeah you did.. Ve3

  • If only Mccains base (the national media) would question him with the same intensity the question Obama, this would even be a race right now. After watching that vid, I'm more proud of Obama today than I was yesterday. Obama '08

  • what happend to 60days obama

  • he never said he would be possible to remove all 150,000 troops in 60 days.

  • Lol, so what's his plan again?

Oh yeah, he doesn't have one.

  • Are you deaf of just dumb? He will remove 2 brigades a month which will take 16 months. As apposed to McBushes plan which is to leave troops in Iraq whether we are succeeding or not.

  • wow

  • Did you hear? Obama chickened-out of having the town hall meetings with McCain! I guess Obama needs his precious speech writer and teleprompter to function as a politician. What a joke!

  • Or rather, Obama's teleprompter and speech writer cannot handle McCain's lack of IQ and so Obama didn't want to destroy them this early in his campaign.

  • Get Real! Neither candidate can say how long we will be in Iraq. If there was a way to get out, as much as I don't like Bush, I think he might (or at least his people) have done it already. At least I don't think we will be there the 100 years McCain is saying.

  • Yeah, you're right. When Obama criticizes McCain, he means that it is okay to have us there for 99 years, 11 months, 30 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. One second difference between McCain is really a big CHANGE. YES WE CAN!

  • Holy crap, the press is really dumb!!

  • Look at the media trying to bait him into changing his position. The Vultures. Obama cannot possibly make it any clearer. 16 months is the pace, unless there is an issue that compromises the security of our forces on the ground. Makes sense to me.

  • "I'm not changing my Iraq policy."

"But why are you changing your Iraq policy?"

"No, you see, I'm NOT changing my Iraq policy."

"But why are you changing your Iraq policy?"

    "???"

  • "this war" (he's all for more wars fighting "al ciaDA") and Combat Troops out in 16 months actually means retaining about 70,000 troops in Iraq as well as the 100,000 or so private contractors will remain. Barrack Obama is an imperialist puppet plain and simple. Will Talking points memo tell you this or just post his speeches?

  • Do you know if he has ever addressed the issue of the private contractors? I am curious why I never see any press ask him questions about Blackwater and other mercenary blood-businesses.

  • He doesn't address Iraqi contractors because he thninks the American public is TOO STUPID to bring up the issue. The private contractors will always be there. This is Obama PRIMING THE PUMP for the oil companies that made a big deal w/the Iraqi gov't.

Why did Obama say that the Iraq War was a dumb war? Because he wanted to deceive the American public and is a disingenuous person.

  • S.674, A bill to require accountability and enhanced congressional oversight for personnel performing private security functions under Federal contracts, and for other purposes.

    Sponsored by: Barack Obama

  • wow I dont think that a presidential candidate would say stupid about any sort of issue while in election and he wont need to talk about contractors when the war is over...

  • I think your answer is not really an answer but rather just an attack on Obama. I asked my question to get an answer, not crass partisan diatribe.

  • Maybe because as commander in chief he only has control over the u.s. military. not the contractors. the Iraqi government will decide to keep them or kick them out once the troops are finally gone.

  • Well the nations Top General Mueller just stated that we need strong diplomacy with Iran not a war...do you have a beef with that as well...Oh your chickenhawk president will retire him in the next 48 hours for assessing the truth concerning the situation on the ground

  • where is it?

  • Clear, concise and reasonable; Obama is going to be a great president.

  • I hope you are kidding.
