Clay Aiken is a very good person besides being a fantastic singer,,,,He lives a life showing how much he cares about children with disabilities, and that says so much about him,,,,he was born gay and it has to be hard for him..he make's people see that it is not a choice he made....but God bless him for being the person he is......

Its not that I don't like gay people--I don't agree with what they do but that doesn't mean I don't like them. The reason I said it would be easier to take is because I thought he was a down home boy who liked girls not guys. He just seemed so nerdy and likeable and said he wasn't gay at the start of his career. Just seems like everyone is starting to come out of the closet and people I thought were "normal" aren't. Not ditching anyone for it, just hard to understand.
Most gay people dont choose to be gay, they are just born like it. They either have less testosterone than oestrogen. Sometime people dont realise that they are gay, until later in life. There was a guy who married this woman and he was straight, 5 years later he found out that he was gay. This may have happen with clay aiken, so therefore he 'might' have been telling the truth at the start of his career. Hope you understand now, people dont choose to be gay or a lesbian, they just are.

He knew at the start of his singing career after A.I. He told Kimberly Locke. They may not "choose" to be homosexual but they I think (my opinion) that they can control it and how they handle it. I know you don't agree, but its how I perceive it. Thanks for the info.

Finally getting the chance to hear him sing this live was AMAZING! The entire Greek Theater was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. All except the woman sobbing next to me.

Breathtakingly beautiful! I had the joy of being at Clay's Houston concert on July 6, 2007, and he sang this song. I do not have the words to describe the emotions and the feelings we all felt in Clay's voice that night. My 17-year-old daughter was brought to tears.
Saw Clay perform in Tulsa, Brady Theatre, July 7th. Absolutely wonderful concert. I loved it... and what's amazing... Clay loved being there and singing to us.

Such a mature, deeply moving song. I find it remarkable that it was left off of the CD (?) I'm sure it wouldn't have recieved any air play anyway because well, it is Clay after all and RCA doesn't seem to promote him with radio. Can you imagine how much more this CD might have sold with "Lover All Alone" and "If You Don't Know Me By Now" on it!

This song is very beautiful. It is so sad that Clay is judged for having faith in God, and high morals and standards, by people who do not have morals or any standards. This song is about finding a soulmate, in a world only interested in their own pleasure. Clay knows it is not about that.
The handwritten music and lyrics were just put up for auction this past weekend to help raise money for Clay's Bubel/Aiken Foundation to help kids with disabilities be included in programs with kids without disabilities for $55,000. Now that's impressive.

Finally getting the chance to hear him sing this live was AMAZING! The entire Greek Theater was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. All except the woman sobbing next to me.

'Love Clay and his music. He blew me away with the lyrics. David Foster did a magnificent job with the music. Let's learn from this great song, be careful with our decision, don't call it love when it's just infatuation, you'll regret it if you go with your impulse. On the other hand, let's take a chance at love and not be afraid to commit when we know we've found the "one"....a lover all alone would be so sad.

Breathtakingly beautiful! I had the joy of being at Clay's Houston concert on July 6, 2007, and he sang this song. I do not have the words to describe the emotions and the feelings we all felt in Clay's voice that night. My 17-year-old daughter was brought to tears.

Such a mature, deeply moving song. I find it remarkable that it was left off of the CD (?) I'm sure it wouldn't have recieved any air play anyway because well, it is Clay after all and RCA doesn't seem to promote him with radio. Can you imagine how much more this CD might have sold with "Lover All Alone" and "If You Don't Know Me By Now" on it!

Beautiful song and adorable singer! I've seen many videos of Clay here and really fell in love with him. He's AMAZING! His voice, his smile, his eyes, sense of humor.. He's an amazing man. I tried to by his cd but I can't get it in my country. Suppose I should go to America and by one.. I want his cd!

The handwritten music and lyrics were just put up for auction this past weekend to help raise money for Clay's Bubel/Aiken Foundation to help kids with disabilities be included in programs with kids without disabilities for $55,000. Now that's impressive.
Love the video and of course the song is just MAGNIFICENT! Too bad it won't be heard by many people though. It's such a shame that it was not included on the cd.

I'm a huge fan of Clay's, but why do you have to put down Ruben? He's a teriffic guy and a friend of Clay's. A lot of people think Clay's on his way out. Obviously he's not and he has a lot of things coming up this year. It's been four years already. You need to get over it.

Why, oh, why has this song not gone public, so it can go to the Top of the Charts. It is song with such emotion, a beautiful melody and a gorgeous singer. I feel so frustrated with all the junk songs on the radio and here is a terrific song, executed with beauty and love, yet goes nowhere. However, I must say it certainly has given us (his fans) a wonderful gift. Thanks, Clay!
