i think you just need to get 5 splatters in one life. it doesnt matter if every kill is a splatter. for example if you get 4 splatters in a row, one kill with the guns, and then another splatter you'll get the splatter spree on the 6th kill

The ANNOUNCER did say double kill twice triple kill splater spree killing frenzy and rampage and there's no announcement for a splatters so you really should try listening before acusing.

This video taped off a TV so its not the best quality but you should still be able to hear if you just turn up your speakers more.
