randomjesse: In theory. But we ourselves shape the picture of our lives. Being "poor" or "rich", or not value the life of mankind in general, is also decided by the surrounding society. Embrace the values that you see fit to get to the "top". Though, I know plenty of people at the "top" and they do not really seem to be happy. I am not powerless as this song suggest. I have the power to shape my own life - and that I do. You have no kids, right? With, it's impossible to hold onto your opinion.

But when you want to fight these opinions, you should do it with constructive criticism and not use fallacies and personal attacks. As these won't convince anyone, and it will lower yourself to the same level. And I believe people should stay polite towards others even if they aren't polite towards them. Youre persistence in this will eventually set you apart from them.

You have to force them to defend their standpoint, rather than exchange attacks. People like Randomjesse aren't particularly bright, so encouraging them to take stock of their statements and back them up with facts often leaves them drawing a blank--and that is perhaps the most help you can give them.

Almost one year ago I was watching a video that had this track and another track by 65daysofstatic. I LOVED both. But I didn't know the band or track names. I could find the track by 65days, it was Retreat! Retreat! - I could never find the name of this one, no matter how hard I looked for it.
