I wish people (especially journalists) would quit saying that it's a Chevy G8. It's not the same as a G8. It's got a longer wheelbase and a completely different suspension and chassis setup.  That's like saying the CTS and Camaro are the same. Sure, they share engines (the v6) and are similar in that they are RWD, but one is far larger and they don't share suspension or chassis setups.

The Caprice cousins have an interesting look. The Vauxhall version looks very handsome and sophisticated. The G8 (are the headlights different?) looks beautifully aggressive. The Buick version in China looks not bad. It's obvious they're not brand new, yet they have a timeless feel - never looking dated.

Seriously though... those varying headlights really get me. Are the Caprice and G8 headlights different in height or not?!

One of the released Chevy Caprice PPV pictures (not shown in the video) is a bit odd. The taillight seems to be the same as that of the dormant Pontiac G8.

Anyways, IMO, the Chevy Caprice looks better with the recent Chevy grille designs that stretch down to the lower fascia and a more integrated grille like that of the G8.
