Not exactly clear how to enter the contest, but one of my "vice verses" would be: "When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise." Proverbs 10:19. To me a Vice Verse would be a scripture that helps you combat sin.
As Simple & as Complex as the World! The World Takes me Down and brings me up.. its that beautiful thing you know can harm you.. And Life itself.. in the most metaphorically and literally because life gives me the strength to walk with Peace in this Violent World.. Life is the Craziest thing that will ever happens to any Human Being!
My vice verses include, sorrowful, but beautiful music... playing it and listening to it. One of my favorite songs is Daisy, and I think that's a great example of that. Even something sorrowful has the potential to be absolutely stunning. There is hope beyond the pain, rainbows after the storm. Some of the best things you can only experience after a bad situation.
My #viceverses is the music that you guys have created. The music I listened to as a child, the music that helped me overcome all of the trials. The music that dared me to get off the the floor and thrive for the finer things in life. To strive for the love of Jesus.
Now this is what i call Interesting ! I am not really a fan of spoilers, but i simply cant resist to that ;) My Vice Versas would be Love & Oblivion. Because humans can develop a deep bond with anyone and anything, but regardless of that, one day, it will be lost in oblivion, because someone new found a new love which is worth to be told. So to say, it´s a double sided sword.
@rachray33 Vice versa, according to the dictionary, means something in contrary or respectively. eg. She hates him, vice versa. Means, under this condition, he also hates her. You could translate it with "the other way around" if it helps ;)
@rachray33 The dictionary definition of "Vice" is a wrong-doing, immoral or wicked behavior. "Verses" is just like verses of a song or poem. So putting them together, Vice Verses, simply are the songs about our vices.
@BryantTrinh I believe "Verses" is actually meant to be a pun. Not only meaning a song or poem as you said but also Verses as in some thing to combat against. So Vice Verses would be something that fights against the wickedness and wrong-doing.
