Love the video, I am getting my commercial in about two more months with about 40 hrs or so tail-wheel time in a 1946 Globe Swift, then off to Ag school. Any advice?? I am trying to learn all I can learn from different people, and hoping to get some part time work with a local operator mixing, loading or whatever they need from me. I grew up farming in SE Alabama, and I currently work as an ACFT mechanic (A&P) loving aviation. Trying to put the two together would be a perfect world for me!!!!
I think I've seen those guys before. How to land?....Mains-both.Left main ,right main or tailwheel first.I always just take what I get! Thought I'd tell you what a great video it is before it it is too late.Best of luck in the future.....
so,,after one get's his private/commercial/tailwheel/,,,,then you have to find a single gal out there,,who's dad owns a duster service,,,because you either have to be born into it or marry into it,,,I'm well qualified to fly dusters,,,and have a desire more than most,,,and simply can't even get a chance,,,really sux.
First of all great videos. Second, it is possible to get a seat without having an "in". I did just that a few years ago. You have to have relevant experience(tailwheel, low level etc) be ready to work on the ground to prove yourself and be willing to move across the country. Good Luck!
Not really...My family and wife have nothing to do with aerial application and I am doing it. You need time, experience. I flew low level pipeline patrol for 6 years, when to ag school and broke in the business in a turbine agcat.

Weird, looks like he did a full stall landing there at the end, usually wheel landings are used in crop dusting, at least with the turbo props

Perhaps....lots of it is pilot preferance so they use both wheel and 3-point landings depending on how they feel that day, lol
