the spirits will be always if only one 1oz and 1/4 not like here and the Kahlua would be 3/4oz because the rule of IBA saids that a cocktails if is not special or exception like NEGRONI etc SHOUL HAVE 2OZ finally product so if i was making a caipirinha caipiroska cuba libre or any cocktail with only one spirit i NEED TO PUT only 1oz 1/4 max load so i don't think he is able to make a cocktails...and another thing you don't need to measure eache cocktail THERE IS MEASURES PUORING TECHINQUES

it's 1 1/4 vodka and 3/4 kahlua and u need to use a special tehniques that help u to do the precise dose without measure it y know it because i did the bartender school 6 months ago and believe u don't measure the cocktails in a disco when u are making 300 or 500 cocktails in 4 hours u don't have time it's not professional...

beautiful drink! i never drink coffee no matter how is it prepared, but this drink is simply one of my favourites.

it is very light, but very manly. perfect for those times when whiskey bores you and you just want to try smth else.

@DoovallianStallion He didn't fill the jigger up all of the way, that's why he added extra. Once you've been bar tending a while you don't even need a jigger. You can tell how much is an ounce or an ounce and a half.

@DoovallianStallion because he does not fill up the jigger. If you fill up the jigger, you are probably going to spill some. So if you dont fill it all the way and then add a splash from the bottle, it evens out. Also, the customer sees you add some from the bottle and it makes them think they are getting more alcohol for their money.

Slow ass drinkmixing. Just take Kahlua in 1 hand and vodka in the other and just pour. If you are good at free-pouring (like we training like hell on my bartenderschool) It will help you alot and speed up your work.

You begin to understand quantities by practicing free-pouring into shot glasses, and then into cups and testing yourself by that method. Once you master the four count/ounce pour, then you can move on. That is the absolute first thing you should learn; Consistency with free-pouring.

If he was trying to show beginners/non-bartenders how to pour the drink, he did it wrong anyway. You never fill the shot glass, dump it in and continue pouring extra alcohol (colored water in this case.)
