i cryed all these moviess, i wish the world wouldnt change , such as the movies, and games and such, i wish we can all go back to the good old days of watching movies like these that puts tears in ur eyes
But UP!.... I almost hate that movie... IT'S A F******G KID MOVIE!!!!! THEY ARE MENT TO BE HAPPY!!!!! NOT "CRY THE FIRST TEN MINUTES, THEN LAUGH"!!!!!!!!!
I think for me, in Finding Nemo, it was actually the scene towards the end that made me "feel" the most. When they think Nemo is dead and Marlin gives up. He wants to forget about everything but Dory doesn't, and well... That scene.
man i remember watching toy story 3 in theaters, i was crying sooo hard. i watched those movies growing up. i was watching this and didnt really start crying til Up lol maybe cause im all grown up now and i know what love is and how terrible it would be to lose a loved one. but this video was well done (:
Cars-Lightning McQueen leaving Radiator Springs with Mack is also sadder. And Doc Hudson had called the press, much to Sally's dismay. But I'm always on Doc's side. And Mater didn't get to said goodbye to McQueen is more upsetting. But everyone won't be very happy with Doc about that.
Ellie is defiantly the saddest one in my opinion i have been with my fiance now for 2 and a half years and i cant imagine loosing him i think i would turn into an extremely angry person just like carl did in the movie so i have to say Ellie is probably the saddest but Nemo is extremely sad too then monsters inc then toystory three then toystory two but they are all very sad
DAMMIT! Cars 2 ruined pixar's streak of good movies! Come on guys, admit it, that movie was such a typical kids movie. If they kill Sully and Mike with university Imma cry.
@laithinator3000 You're just heartless there. EVERYONE cried at Ellie's death. I love ALL Pixar movies, but Cars 2 just broke the streak of good movies. But in my opinion, Cars 2 was better than the first. It was very exciting, and I actually thought Mater was gonna blow up because of the bomb. Well, luckily it was deactivated at the last second.
That last ones always makes me cry. It's one of my favorite scenes of all the Pixar movies. It's so sad, so beautiful, so REAL. Has Pixar EVER showed true life's greifs like miscarrige before? It surprised me they showed this, it's one of their best works
Wow. That scene from up always left me smiling at first and the bam. A tear is rolling down my face. Then at the heat of the sad moment my sister laughs really hard at some funny video she is watching and i get insta- pissed. -_-
Toy Story 3 leaves me hyperventilating. I was born the year the first film came out, and literally grew up with them (I had my own pair of the toys.) They were my friends, the films were my friends. They taught me and impacted me so much, and letting go of my childhood is just the hardest thing I will ever have to do.
With the exception of Cars (that movie is an exception to a LOT of things in every other Pixar movies), I always find myself rubbing my eyes and saying "Goddamnit Pixar" at least once when watching one of their movies the first time. Every. Single. One.
Disney PIxar movies are the BEST! Up, Cars, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Polar Express, Monsters Inc, Mulan, Pocahontas, Wall-E, Rattatouie, and so many more. All classics! (:
oh dear god, i remember seeing monsters inc when i was like 12 i cried my eyes out. I've never been so sad for an animated movie in my life and it still gets me even today at 18 years old. i miss my childhood so much.. oh i think i feel the water works coming on ಥ_ಥ
love the list, but i might put "I Will Go Sailing No More" from Toy Story 1 in rather than the monsters inc one. Didn't hit me as a kid, but i was a wreck during the re-release.
Why Must Pixar Always Have One Parent? Or Start Off With Two, And Always Kill Of The Mother? (Or In Up's Case, The Wife)? It Bugs Me! I Mean I Understand, They Want Little Kids To Know Its Ok To Have One Parent, But Still! Would It Kill Them To Keep Both Parents For Once? I Dont Like Crying During The First 10 Minutes Of Movies!
Toy Story 3 was the saddest for me, because I, Like Andy, grew up with the Toys from Toy Story. I bawled, and I am proud of it, because no other movie will grow up along with the children who watched it way back when they were 3.
I never cry during any movie. But Pixar movies are tear jerkers. If you didnt cry, like me, than you have to be at least heart-touched. I was Heart-touched.
amazing and marvelous! definitely toy story 3 scene...with andy and bonnie is the most touching, saddest, moving on moments in animated movies...specially when you when saw the first toy story movie when you where 7 years old..then waiting the years and growing up with the movie...then suddenly youre going to college 19 ans seeing this again...identifying with andy...shit is just tooo heart touching :(
from when I was 2-6 if we were on a road trip and if I was tired, I'd tell my dad to turn on the Jessie song and i'd be asleep within a minute. Now it just makes me cry....:(
the one for toy story 3 should have been #1. i cant remember the last time i cried so much for a movie. so amazing.
when it came out in theaters i was in the exact same position as andy. i had just finished high school and was gonna go to my first year of college. so i could definitely connect with the film. monster's inc. i never found to be sad.
the one for toy story 3 should have been #1. i cant remember the last time i cried so much for a movie. so amazing.
when it came out in theaters i was in the exact same position as andy. i had just finished high school and was gonna go to my first year of college. so i could definitely connect with
the saddest is in "Up", when Ellie dreamed her whole life of going to see the falls, they just never had the money, Carl wanted her to go but at the end of her life, she couldn't even get up a hill, much less the falls; then she dies. Second saddest is in Toy Story 2 when Jessie remembers being left behind and forgotten by her owner. These are the saddest because everyone can identify with never achieving a dream, or being left behind by the one they love.
I am Andy, seriously. Not like his voice actor but I mean I am just like him in every single way it's scary. I still have my Buzz and Woody in the attic somewhere.
I will always cry during that scene in "Up". Always. And also during the scene near the end when Carl looks through their adventure book. It just breaks me to pieces.
@tytika i think finding nemo has quite a few sad moments, the start where marlins wife dies, the bit where marlin thinks nemo is dead and the bit where marlin leaves dori that you just mentioned...it's such an amazing film
i also think that toy story 3 should be #1 and finding nemo should be #2, they're my favourite pixar films ever -and they have some stiff competition clearly!!!
Pixar is INCREDIBLE. Beautiful, amazing storytelling. The fact that that sequence from UP has not a single word to it and can make bawl like a baby is case and point to how brilliant those Pixar people are. <3 I was trying to see how long I could go without crying - made it halfway through #5. :P
I'm not even gonna lie. I cried the first time I saw number 5 from Toy Story 2. I cried when I saw Toy Story 3. I watched it with my brother and sister. It was a story and movies I grew up with... and it is true and very depressing because it does hit home. All of these moments are like kid versions of things that we know happen in life and reality and our adult selves make that connection.
Anyone who says Disney films are for kids or are just childish, they obviously have no taste in films, or have never been able to understand what a story with a true underlined meaning is, because nobody does it better than Pixar, couldn't ask for a better film than Up or Monsters Inc :')
Emily, that bitch! Okay but seriously, how does Pixar manage to make us feel so much compassion for a TOY?!? They are such incredibly talented people.
Up was messed up. It's one thing to put something like this at the end of the movie or even in the middle when you had time to prepare. But this sucker punch in the beggining? Dude that's wrong. That was almost as bad if not worse then Lion King
toy story 3 is the saddest to me. although woodys face doesn't move, along with any of the others, you can see the happiness in them as they have one last memory with their favorite pal.
then up is soo adorable but i think i cried just as much as in monsters inc.
omg i cried so hard on he up part :((((

You did a very good selection. Everyone one of them represents a different side of sadness we all suffer through life.
5) Change, everything changes, even friends. And no one wants change.
4) Tragedy, instant and quick, life can hurt you when you least expect it.
3) Moving forward, no one wants to grow up after you understand what it means.
2) Sacrifice, giving up what you love for the greater good of someone else.
1) Giving up your dreams,

I graduated with Andy, which is why I'm not ashamed to admit that I teared up at the end of Toy Story 3

I don't usually cry at movies, but I started on the FIRST ONE.

Pixar always has the best sad parts! Gives us a second thought about things :D

The beginning of Nemo over the moment WALL-E loses his memory?!?! No.

Pixar is so poignant, but never sappy. They stay real, and I think that's how the stories hit home so hard.

The monsters inc got me the most, but then he comes back so all is well

Up was messed up. It's one thing to put something like this at the end of the movie or even in the middle when you had time to prepare. But this sucker punch in the beggining? Dude that's wrong. That was almost as bad if not worse then Lion King

toy story 3 is the saddest to me. although woodys face doesn't move, along with any of the others, you can see the happiness in them as they have one last memory with their favorite pal.
then up is soo adorable but i think i cried just as much as in monsters inc.
then finding nemo
then jessie
they are all sad :(
