  • Mines yorkie is named Poppa :-)

  • uhh Ohh Weress Mommy /;

  • Way too young... no wonder it was whimpering.

  • 6 weeks is too early, it misses its mommy and litter mates. but yeah, it's adorable anyway hope it didn't have socialization or behavioral problems.

  • So cute, they can leave as long as there ready why don't everyone mind there business god dam, check out my yorkies on my vids

  • actually.. puppies can leave whenever they start to leave their mum and not want milk :s maybe thats what this puppie did.. and im sure its alive now so shut up xD

  • If you get them from a reputable breeder then most won't let them leave now till they are at least 12 weeks old

  • Beauitful puppy but other posters are right much to young to be taken from mommy. There was much left for her to teach yet

  • AW thats adorable how she's trying to get used to the house

  • so cute and healthy puppy you know how big belly

  • ohh so adorable !- MOMYYY ME SEE THIS I WANT ONE-

  • the sad part of this is what the news is saying LOL

  • To be honest yoU should get the dog at 8 weeks but it depends on the dog I got my yorkie at 8 weeks but stoped weening at about 7 weeks but still best to weight till 8 weeks tho.

  • i got my puppy at 6 weeks old to she is completly fine.

  • i got my puppy at 6 weeks old to she is completly fine.

  • <poor puppy. <they should be at least 8 weeks

  • very cute puppie

  • awww i want a yorkie sooo bad

  • So if it isn't bad enough that the poor thing was taken from it's family early, you just go on and film it in distress. You could ATLEAST try and comfort it.....

  • it be funny to see this puppy get killed with an ax n chopped up into thousands of pieces then disposed

  • @moliekilla What is wrong with you?

  • @britneyspears8838 nothing at all

  • @moliekilla Seems like there is.

  • I want my mommy.. But it's darn adorable, can't argue with that ;D

  • i got my dog at 6 weeks, its 11 months now and happy as anything, ur all full of bullshit to be honest.. 6 weeks is fine.

  • shee soo cuteeee

  • runs funny

  • awwww she so shy

  • Six weeks tends to be the norm in the UK. All of our puppies have been adopted around the six week mark.

  • This baby is way too small to be without mommy. I breed Yorkshires and my babies are currently 6 weeks old. I would never allow them to leave at this age. Your baby can hardly walk. She is going to be malnourished and she looks as if she's been over fed. Certainly a sign of puppy food at too early an age. Where did you get this pup? Was she a puppy mil dog? These are usually the only people that will give them away at too early an age. Money money money!!! Shame on them! Take it to the Vet!

  • you really should wait at least 8 weeks before adopting a puppy.

  • I wish I had that kind of puppy! Well, I will, and I will upload videos. I might have a puppy at the end of in the middle of May.

  • oooooh my god!!!!!! iis pretty!!! =3

  • SO CUTE :)

  • I miss mine! im deffinately getting another when I move into my apartment.

  • dráága kicsi szivem:) hogy nyüszörög^^

  • so cute! just got one saturday! SHES adorable. so happy. Her name is Twinki. POWER TO THE YORKIES

  • i got mine yesterday and she sqeals like that to

  • Omg soooo cut how much did the puppy cost!!??? And where did you get it from??!!

  • omg so cutee!!!

  • around 0:27 - 0:30 "Wonder how this speaker tastes like" :33

P.S. It sounds like the ... got no words for it. but it sound cute when it talks :p

  • aww. my dad was about to buy another dog and he saw a puppy that was 2 days old. he was going to take it, but he was afraid that his other dog, that is realy big, might hurt it.

  • OMGGGG im like dying of this dog's cuteness! my mom was about to get yorkie puppy on Wednesday cuz she thought it was stray and she was about to take it the vet to see if any injuries but she didnt realize it had a collar loll

  • i want a yorkie so bbad im getting a dog in septemberor october

  • sux 4 u , i'm getting one friday

  • How much did she cost?

  • what a cutieeeee *kisskiss*

  • i am really freaked out i got my puppy yesterday and looks exsactly like that one! same marking and squek :P twins

  • Cutest Thing Ever.

  • Ya that's true it's really not a good idea to separate a pup from the siblings and mother until 8 weeks. They say that you shouldn't get a puppy from a breeder that doesn't follow that. It's adorable though!

  • why are you al having a hissy fit over an age just shut up its there dog :P

  • their*

  • Sorry proc, I appologize for having contributed to that forum troll and having detracted from the video.

But if you read it, it is kind of funny.

    His counterarguments were to:

-call people idiots, stupid, ****tards, dumbass, while clearly not knowing the topic

-try and change what he said

-try and change what I said.

all the time not realizing that if he lied about what was said, people could scroll up.

I'm sorry again and I'm done.

  • he just won of thows people

  • I appologize to the video poster and all bystanders for detracting from how wonderful this video is by arguing with someone like cookiecache2. Sorry I just didn't want anyone taking his bad advice.

This is a wonderful video of a beautiful yorkie. I first watched it just before buying my yorkie 6 months ago. It gave me a lot too look forward too, after all, they are just so cute! =)

  • You're wrong and so is the idiot that got this mutt from a backyard breeder.

  • LOL, yes, me, the owner, the seller, my vet, my seller, the other vet I know, and all the documented journal articles of reported hypoglycemia in toy breads are wrong. Everyone is stupid but you.

  • Are you saying it's okay to take dogs home at 6 weeks because the reports of hypoglycemia are incorrect? I said even if they are eating and drinking fine, they still need to stay with their mother until 8 weeks. BTW, you're being mocked in a stupid pet owner community by about 75 people for saying it's okay to take them home at 6 weeks.

  • Now you're just blatently twisting things:

" I said even if they are eating and drinking fine"

    No, you said:

"It doesn't matter if the dog is eating/drinking fine."

You realize if you attempt to lie about what you said, people can actually go back and read your comments.

Me saying everyone but you wrong was obvious sarcasim, your attempt to take it seriously fails.

  • It was in response to "If it's eating and drinking okay, it's wonderful that it goes home well before it's ready to leave its mother!!!" Learn how to read and do a google search on when it's okay for a puppy to leave its mother, fucktard.

  • wow calm down its a dog

  • No one said that, you putting it in quotes doesn't mean anyone said it.

You don't seem to realize if you attempt to lie about what you or anyone else said, people can actually go back and read the comments.

  • My bad advice that Yorkshire Terrier puppies should stay with their mothers until 10 weeks and puppies in general shouldn't leave their mothers until 8 weeks?

You have no clue what you're talking about.

  • I agreed with you about staying with their mothers at 8 weeks. I also said it was ok under certain circumstances to take them home at 6 weeks, and stated you had to watch out for hypoglycemia.

You saying their diet/hypoglycemia isn't important was bad advice.

You saying that the main problems were socialization and biting inhibition was bad advice.

Your counterpoints of calling others ****tards, stupid, idiots, dumbass, showed how much you actually knew about the subject.

  • That you just called me a ****tard and told me to talk to a Vet is hilarious.

Again, you clearly lost that argument when your only counterpoints are to ignor the Hypoglycemia of Yorkies and call me a f***tard, stupid, and dumbass.

  • yorkies shouldn't leave their mothers until 8-10 weeks.

  • yeah yeah whatever!!!!!!!!

  • It's true, many breeds shouldn't leave their mothers until 8-10 weeks.

However, if you get the dog locally at 6 weeks and it clearly isn't having any problems when you bring it home i.e.- is eating and acting like a normal dog, then you're ok. Now after 2 days if it's not eating anything, then it needs to go back to its mother.

This puppy clearly wasn't having problems, so it was fine.

It is you cookie, and not steridge, that knows jackshit.

  • No, it DOES matter if the dog is eating/drinking fine, ESPECIALLY IF IT'S A YORKIE which can easily become hypoglycemic at that age.

New dogs often won't eat in new environments. This is a big problem if the dog doesn't have the fat reserves yet to go without eating for a few days, it can result in all sorts of hypoglycemic health problems. The dog not dying is important.

Key socialization can still happen, that you need to call people stupid and dumbass shows you know nothing.

  • Comment removed

  • LOL, ya i'd delete that comment where your counterpoint was you calling me a ****tard too if I were you.

Now it's bite inhibition huh? You think that at 6 weeks a dog does not have bite inhibition but at 10 weeks it suddenly does if left with other dogs?

No, at 10 weeks, they have not learned bite inhibition, most breeds don't learn that until at least 4 months, and many won't have it out of their system until later.

At this point most readers know not to trust your pet advice.

  • @steridge Your puppy is cute! It doesn't matter if it's young, it's SO cute, so people who say it's young, just shut up and get on with life!

  • @angelwings409 it will die it cant live at this age without its mother's milk

  • @steridge yeah yeah whatever? Puppies need to be weamed but your to stupid to know that. They need the milk and when they are 8 weeks they don't need it anymore. They also need the other puppies company and such. You should know that and care and not be so chill about how young your dog is to be away from tis mother.

  • @steridge When they leave their mothers early, it can cause psychological damage an anxiety issues. I have a pom who was taken from his mother early, and he has a number of issues because of this.

  • @steridge That's a really rude thing to say. You are ruining that dogs life, all so that YOU can get what YOU want sooner. You are a DISGUSTING vile human being!!

  • @cookiecache2 it just depends on how the pup is. i got mine around 6-7 weeks and she is doing fine and the breeder and handler has to approve that the dog is going to be in good hands. My dog is 3 years old now with no problems

  • @cookiecache2 you are right my friend had a puppy and it was well i don't know how old he was but he died he was not older well you know what i mean so yeah

  • when the puppy whined or made the sound...well its cute and when i mean cute i mean really cute, adorable, small

  • so cute at 0:44

  • OMG yorkshire terriers are so small! i kno when they are old they arent that big but at the puppy stage they are SO SMALL! BTW wat did you name ur puppy????

  • i bought mine when he was 8 weeks, hes 4 years old now, but when there little they always want cuddles, like on a walk if its cold they want to be picked up, our was soo tiny that whenever he wanted a cuddle, we could fit him in a hat!

  • They waddle when there puppies it's so cute!!!

  • toooo adorablee!!!

    <3

  • That is the cuteeest puppy ive ever scene !!!!

  • i wanna put in my pocket and run home!!1

  • mine was the only one in the litter and shes a teacup

  • mine was the only one in her litter, too!

haha i guess it's not as uncommon as i thought.

  • ive just had the same dog at the same age and its crying a bit but shes settling down and exploring the house

    i think shes comfortable

  • WTTFFFF 6 weeks?!?!? too damn young to be taken away from its mother and siblings...no wonder it kept crying in the beginning...at that age they dont have the proper social skills they need yet...poor puppy...whoever sold it to u should be ashamed

  • don't worry, its pretty common practice. There is no mathematical equation to when it should be taken. The right time is when it no longer needs to be weaned by the mother and can walk.

  • well actually, it's okay to take the puppies home at 6-8 weeks...

  • @dragoonman88 calm down flamer

  • i become tomorrow a yorkie-malteser they re sooooo sweeeeeeeet

  • cutest dog ever

  • adorabllEEEE

  • Aww he is soo Cute

    I want her :)

Oh and just wonering how do yorkies behave, are they noisy ?

  • No, not realy ;) But sometimes they can barf for nothing, etc the wind and tree's. But it's fun!! got one self

  • the news in the background is just freaky lol

  • I agree with Sio99. I worked at a pet store and we have babies that young-6 weeks. Any REAL animal specialist would tell you that's WAY too damn young to take them away from mom.

And, I hope you realize that if you got that from a petstore, its mother probably lives in a cage and has never had any love at all...its what we call a puppy mill.

  • true true

i was also wondering, "isnt tht puppy too young to be seperated from its mother n siblings??"

    poor puppy

  • People like small, cute things. If they're too big people wouldn't buy them, hence the reason they get separated too soon. That whining? Yeah...that's because it was taken from its mom too soon.

  • Four negatives?

The truth fucking SUCKS doesn't it?

  • i have 2 just like that

  • WOW THAT YORKiE HAS A LOONG TAiL... iVE NEVER SEEN A YORKiE WiTOUT A DOCKED TAiL.. HMMM

  • So do I! But my mum won't let me get another dog, though my best friends' Yorkie is pregnant at the moment... :(

  • soooo cute!

  • Best dogs in the world! I have a tiny Yorkie puppy.

  • arent you supposed to get them at 8 weeks?

  • I got my trixie at fourteen weeks. The breader will not let her go before all the shots were done. first shot 6 weeks, and every 3 weeks after that, till the 12th weekthe wormed in between, then, this breader observe them for two weeks to make sure all is fine. this breader gets a health certificate at that time. I hope your pupp is ok. He looks very healthy to me. good luck

  • I know, You shouldn't let a toy breed go until 12wks if your a good breeder, period.

to the video person: Hope the puppy is what you expected!!!

  • i thought you can get a dog like 8 weeks old or older..not younger

  • That's what I thought...

  • im getting mine for $300

  • puppies have to go at 8 weeks

  • Damn i love puppy´s soo cuuuuuuttteeeee =)

  • I have a 7 year old yorkie and she is still 3 pounds. cute puppy

  • Agreed 6 weeks is too young. 8 weeks at minimum. No wonder the poor thing seemed unsteady on her feet. I'm sure you'll take good care of her at least :) Good Luck

  • 6 weeks is TOO YOUNG to bring him home.

  • hello

    how much is a terrier

  • don't listen to jolynn0516, he does have characteristics of a purepred yorkie, the coloring, the size for the age, the only thing that is different is that he oes no have his tail docked. and i tihnk it's cuter that way! do some research and you'll find out that he is a yorkie.

  • this dog is SOOOOOOoooo cute!!!!!11

don't you just lurve it up?

  • that was taken from its mother wayyyyyyyyy to early! if you ever take it back to see its birthmother dont expect it to act the same afterwards.

  • i got my yorkshire terrier puppy from a breeder at hartlepool maybe we got them from the same guy except mine was born in december and u posted this in september ... was her mam called Dotty? eee how mad would it be if our puppies were related :p

  • aww... it's so cute how it cries like that

  • 6 weeks old is far too young for the pup to be taken from it's mum. Shame on the breeder.

  • my yorkshire terrier puppy is cuter and it cries like that puppy

  • marmoteshire
