They are combining flip-phones with only-touchscreen-phones... Thats frickin' amazing! I kinda like japanese cellphones... I think here in germany someone would REALLY attract the attention with one of that cellphones...

I have a Samsung Galaxy S but if i could read japanese I would trade it immediately with one of that phones...

i understand japan has their own style of phones, but it seems they aren't really adapting to the rest of the world and their smartphones. there should be like some sort of lovechild of japanese design + NFC chips + tv signals + other international smartphones and their apps

Their phones are waterproof?! that's awesome..over here (US) if you drop a phone in the water, you're screwed...

@takashi3061 They are not just water proof it has functions that can serve as your TV, internet access, media players, camera, and even buy stuff with it through scanner and some have finger print readers for security reasons.

Japanese phones are so far ahead it is ridiculous, of course the fee is more expensive, but Japanese culture rely on cellphones extensively.

Some of the phones are outdated, like the flips. everything is going touch screen and android. It's the new generation

@devilxcries its not outdated some are waterproof and has internet browser i saw those phones on personal cause i live in japan oh and some are solar powered you can also download apps but its just exclusive in japan

@devilxcries they had new andriods if you payed attention. I actually like flips still I love my itouch but still not all touch screens are perfect.
