Neither one is a "great" drummer. Both are / were extremely influential.. Because of the bands they were / are in. They were both a huge part in their band's success. Soloing is neither one of these guys strong points. Peter has much better hands. Lars plays with way more intensity. . Both did their best work on their early albums. Criss 1973-1977. Lars 1983-1988. If I have to pick 1. Peter gets the nod. He inspired more kids to play. Although I'm sure Lars inspired a lot too.
