Actually Pop isnt that bad genre. The problem is pop is mostly used by talentless people for some quick money. And Another thing about pop is, I believe most of us got introduced to music because of pop. No one likes rock right away just because rock needs to be understood and pop is easy on ears. People should appreciate good music and they need to understand easy listening music is also needed. Music always need not be with tough guitar solo's or screaming voices. Btw I love soundgarden.

So I grew up listening to bands like Metallica (before they started to suck) iron Maiden, Led Zepplin, Soundgarden, Pantera, i can go on for a while. But you should get my drift by now. "No one likes rock right away just because rock needs to be understood." That isn't always the case. In my case, i was raised around. As i got older, the lyrics began to have meaning rather than "oh this sounds pretty cool."

this is actually quite good. i think it's cool that pop and soft songs are performed by talented musiacians, that have different backgroung then just pop. ok, so sure i like "say hello to heaven" and the soundgarden days more, but it doesn't mean that cornell has to do the same thing 25 yrs. and it's nice to listen to some quality stuff in pop music, just like it was nice to have good singers like george michael in pop
