This movie is so inaccurate!!! I thought the egyptians were black people. Where is Egypt located? IN AFRICA!!!!!!! But this is Hollywood can be racist too. If you were black back then in the 1960's you could not play the main character. So inaccurate!!! That's right black people had majesty too.

Yul Brynner looks nothing like Ramses II; a travesty in casting ... instead, he resembles an older version of Tutankhamun, at best. The ridiculous overly used key lighting aesthetic spoils much of the would-be appeal of this and many other Hollywood epics; a pity ... that some day soon, with advances in and economies availed by digital technologies will assiduously correct ... perhaps even swapping out Brynner with a digital replacement whom would resemble the true Pharaoh. Bring it on!

I remember seeing this movie when I was a little girl back in the early 90's. Ramses was probably the first man crush I had. I'm a woman, but back then I had crushes on boys since I was a little girl. He was just so smooth, suave and strong. And he had the BADDEST costumes in the whole movie lol! Gotta say though, Nefertiti's character was one lucky woman to have both Ramsees and Moses! Love the music that was added to the clips! Perfect

Yul Brynner is definitely one of my favorites! Unfortunately typecast with The King & I, Brynner was not cast in as many films as he could have been but he is excellent in all of them! Highly talented, sinfully good looking, totally cool...even today he is more handsome than most stars we see today! WHAT A GUY!
