she's so beautiful! & the fluttering almost looks like eye rolling.. but 4 year old rolls her eyes, but I think that's more of giving me attitude.. lol she's at risk of developing any type of seizure, but luckily hasn't yet.. I do keep a close eye on her & will be looking for this now as well. thanks so much! :)
OMG I cannot believe what I am watching. My son was diagnosed with Benign Tonic Upgaze and 18mths old but hasn't had an episode for about 4 years now (now 6). This week he has started blinking his eyes and rolling them and I have now been informed that he is having absent episodes in class......
Thank you for sharing this video, she's adorable. May I ask if you had the SCN1A test done to confirm Dravets syndrome or was she diagnosis from symptoms? Our little girl has Lennox Gastaut syndrome and the same type seizures. I didn't know it was a seizure for years, I video taped it thinking it was just her and then she did it on an EEG and i found out. Thank you again for sharing this and God bless you're little darling. Christy
Hi, thanks for the comments. This is definitely seizure activity picked up and confirmed during an EEG. These eyeflutters are considered atypical absence seizure activity.
It looks more like a simple partial (focal motor) seizure because she was still talking during it. And I have to say she's so cute:-)
