I bought a used 85 Coupe DeVille in about 1990, it had the hideous 4.1 liter aluminum engine in it. Other than the engine I loved the car. I only had one oil pump failure with the engine, no coolant in the oil because I used the sealant.

I think the ugliest Cadillac was those ones with the chopped off trunks in the 80's. They made Oldsmobiles like it too! I collect 1:18 scale diecast. I have 11 Cadillacs but the one that makes me wonder way they picked that year is a 1973. It looks out of place next to the rest of them.

My least favorite Cadillacs from the 59-70 era were the 61-62. The styling didn't flow with the rest of the years. And Cadillac knew it too. The 63-64 especially the front was similar to the 59-50.
