  • UHHHHHHHHH

  • thumbs up teh black kid on drums not messin up ^_^

  • ?????

  • Its Marimba imba xD

  • FAIL THATS A MARIMBA

  • LOL love it with that drum beat XD but yea at the end yall fuck up ^^ good job !!!

  • Oh good god... Number one... that was played on a bell kit... number two... thats a marimba, not a xylophone, and number three... play the notes right. Please. Just... please... I want to talk to Saria

  • Why the heck is he playing it from the wrong side?!

  • errrrrrrrrr.....

  • a lot of wrong but Cool! :)

  • very dreamy

  • this isnt a drum session

  • I think the video stoped because that dude got beat up for screwing the song D:

  • uhm, hadnt it be better if he stood at the right side of the marimba? x)

  • haha, i play zelda songs on the marimba at band practice, half the band wouldnt leave me alone until i taught them all

  • umm...its a marimba. but good try tho

  • @cutie213080 but the smaller metallic one IS a xylophone

  • @cutie21080 ... oops no those are bells, nvm

  • @XSuicidalTendencyX

    actually, its a glockenspiel xd

  • @chrismikeprod it is a xylophone, unless it is to be used for marching, or walking around with while playing, then it is a glockenspiel, 2 different instruments entirely, but with the same purpose in mine.

  • @91freerider19 Not...the instrument with the wooden bars is a marimba, and the instrument with the metal bars to the left of it is indeed a glockenspiel (a.k.a. orchestral bells). What you're referring to as a walking instrument is a nearly outdated version of the bell set, with the only real difference being the way the bars are set up (which it laid flat in the form of the older lyres [think squigly "U"]). Just for the record, the covered instrument (right of the marimba) is a vibraphone.

  • @lazeryth03 I might also mention there are no xylophones visible in this recording. :)

  • @lazeryth03 YEESSS!! :)

  • @91freerider19

Put is bluntly...Xylophone is wood. Glockenspiel is Metal (or sometimes called a metalaphone)

  • bet you he stopped the video the bitch slap that guy

  • That gong seems a bit unnecessary

  • yep but so hard :p

  • 62 skull kids hated this video

  • nice :O the problem is the drummer xd

  • niiiiiiiiice one!!!!! i remember such good ol' times i played zelda oot and this theme on keyboard^^ really cool vid keep on playin zelda and those instruments dude

  • Fail

  • eso es marimba

  • The xylo at my school sounds much better.

  • @Xenith314 That's not even a xylophone.......? That's a Marimba, being played upside down, and a glockenspiel.

  • i dont know if the guy playing drums is trying to go with the song, but it goes good. ^^

  • I think it sound cool... It must have taken awhile. Besides, just look at the views.

  • im sorry i cant do that but that was pretty badass

  • Truly, played right.

  • @Railer505

Errr... dude? I never said your video was trash -_-

I said your COMEBACK at was bad. that "That's what you are" thing.

and youtube isnt meant to be for populartiy, it's a video sharing site for you and your friends. You're kind of being a complete asshole by going around on people's videos leaving dumb comments that further degrade yourself.

Your video is excellent as it is, I was commenting on your asinine reply to "triviumlambofgod". it' was extremely childish.

  • XD Super Fail! "Play It Right!" XD

  • tell the drummer to quit band!

  • dude that waz pretty cool thumbs up 4 u

  • lol i play this when my directors not looking, it such a fun song to play and you and your friends nailed it

  • OMG this cracks me up he does it wrong and the camera guy yells play it right followed by someone banging one of those chimes..... haha

  • @HopOPwndTheHippo it was a tam-tam that was hit not chimes...

  • aww glockenspiel fucked it up

  • lol lern to play n0b

  • Don't be so mean! D;

  • ROFL! I remember being at Uni and completely cocking up what I was playing on the Xylophone. At that time I couldn't read music and was trying to play everything by ear. Only knew really where 'C' was and was trying to play everything like that.

I like the sound of the ensemble though.

  • wow.. this is not an ensemble........... anyways the first part of the bell part it was f b a f ba f ba e d b c b g e d e g e

  • can anyone tell me the notes for the bells for that song? (not the wooden one, thee smaller and silver one)

  • i lol'd. the title says "played by xlyophone," but i didn't see one xylophone in the video. perhaps the performer's name is Xylophone...

  • Give him some respect, it actually sounds pretty good.

  • play it right! >:O

    lol its still awesome

  • You guys should learn the difference between a xylaphone and a marimba...just sayin

  • there were bells there too

  • video description:

Saria's Song from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, played by a ensemble of xylophones and marimbas

  • do you have any sheet music on this?

  • Everything sounds better with drumset haha.

  • OMG!! That guys playing it backwards! I wisj I could do that!

  • @uchihaclan95

No you don't because that guy kept fucking it up.

  • @uchihaclan95 Just stand behind it and hit. That's all he was doing

  • Aii q lindo *-*

  • PLAY IT RIGHT!

  • LOL she was playing it backwards

  • i can play this on a ocarina but is sounds like a dog taking a shit! btw good job!

  • haha, playing upside down you...you...I hate you so much right now. just for that I'm going to point out that there was no xylophone involved there. There was a marimba, yes, but the other instrument was actually a set of orchestra bells (I'm sticking my tongue out at you, you just can't see it). Good job with the set though; the first thing I noticed when I listened to this was the drums ftw.

  • PLAY IT LEFT bah hahahaha

  • LOL

  • its play it right

  • who;s saying play it right that bugs me

    Otherwise, NAMASTE

  • shit was so cash!

  • i know thw drum set made it more groovy C=

  • ha thats awsome were you guys playing in your school or something cuz towards the very end after he says play it right it looks like your in a school and it sounds like there is a teacher yelling in the back ground lol

  • I think is the band hall

  • i lol'd at the guy in the background "play it right"

xd i can play it almost exactly liek that on piano but that was just awsome

  • nice!

  • That's very cool. You're even playing it upside down. Oh! And the guy on the drums! It sounds better with more instruments.

  • i think its cool. i like it good job!

  • well ask me in such a hateful tone and do you really think im going to obey your request?

  • lol "play it right!!"

  • I don't get why one of you had to be on the other side.

If you're both playing correctly you should have been playing next to each other.

It was pretty cool sounding though.

  • amazing

  • "Play it right!"

  • lol

  • haha " play it right!!" lol

    Nice vid ^^

  • the drum beat was a nice touch.

  • coolios ;D

  • it said played by xylophone

  • no shit

  • Omfg.. You guys are awesome..

  • the drum rhythm is just perfect for that song

  • Lol That was interesting. xD

  • 0:27 "PLAY IT RIGHT" lol!

  • Play it right, play it right, get it tight! I found you miss new xylo... get it together and bring it back to me

  • hit the playas club, for bout a month or 2

  • la wea ordinaria wn

  • post a version that doesnt have peeps commenting in the background eh. i dig the set tho

  • Sounds Cool!

  • PLAY IT RIGHT !!LOL

  • the drums kind of ruined it

  • FYI, that's not a xylophone, it's a Marimba. Xylophone is a smaller instrument that sound higher than the Marimba, and the harmonics are tuned differently so it has a characteristically different sound.

  • There is both a xylophone and a marimba in this video.

  • No xylophones, just a marimba and a glockenspiel.

  • Ah! My bad, you're right.

  • Easiest song to learn, but playing it backwards seems kind of difficult. XD

  • If you play it backswards then it's the Healing song ;D

  • the drums sucks

  • lol "PLAY IT RIGHT!!"

  • i do the same shit in my band class. lol

  • ..▲

    ▲ ▲

Now I want to go and figure out how to play that bells part....

  • Wow, magic sound. Love it!

  • frigginnn awesome!!!! but those weren't xylos...those were bells, and marimba.

  • That was cool!

  • i know its been said before but, AAHHAHAHAHAHA "PLAY IT RIGHT" HAHAHaHAHHAHAHHHAAH, idk why thats so funny, i think its his voice, AHAHAHAHAHALOLOLOLOLOLOLLLZZLZOZLZOZLZLZOOLZOahahaa

  • lol Play It Right!

  • just love the Xylophone.

    such a great instrument.

  • This video makes me laugh so much I can't stop watching this!

    "Play it Right" lol

  • At 0:27 you can hear him yell, "Play it Right"! lol

  • Sorry, But a little messed up, and you use the wrong mallets ;) ..

  • Not bad! Rock on!

  • lol it's the forbidden music, DONT LET YOUR BAND TEACHER CATCH YOU!

  • haha sound great and funny

    love it haha

  • hahaha I like when the guy says "play it right"

  • dude that was lame mayb the dude on the high end of the marimba should not try 2 show off and just play it facing the rite side of the keyboard.

  • i know right

  • The difference between marimba and xylophone aren't the size. I currently own a 4 octave marimba that has keys the size of a xylophone. Lots of marimbas are like this. Xylophones dont ring out when you hit the keys.

  • LOL COOL

  • Why was that person playing the Marimba on the other side? It's not like there wasn't room on the other. And where's the Xylophone?

    LMFAO= PLAY IT RIGHT!

  • A marimba is just a large xylophone. That one is on the edge of being a xylophone or a marimba.

  • Um......no it's not.....I've played both for 7years!

  • There are other differences, like the cut of the wood. There's a lot of overlap. A marimba is pretty much always over 4.5 octaves long, while xylophones can be smaller. That's why the easiest way to tell is size.

  • No, I must protest!

Marimbas have softer wood creating a deeper and woody sound!

Xylophones have hard wood and are sometimes coated in plastic! that's why you can use hard mallets, like plastic, on Xylophones. However, is you were to use plastic mallets on a Marimba, you would most likely split a bar.

  • I never said they didn't.

I would never use plastic mallets on a xylophone. Rubber is ok, but not plastic.

As I said, there is a lot of overlap. But a true marimba is over 4.5 octaves long, while a xylophone doesn't usually go over that. That's why the easiest way to tell is size.

Most marimbas have softer wood, but I've seen plenty that have much harder bars. It's a very fuzzy line between marimba and xylophone.

  • Read this:

"A different hardness and resiliance may be desired, for example, to play marimbas, as opposed to xylophones. In most instances, harder mallets will be used on the Xylophone, and softer on Marimba."

  • that was fucken cool i am a breaker and it osunds good to break too damn major props mang
