Let's see evidence that the 23 year old had a reasonable belief that she was 15. If the 15 year old girl misrepresented herself as an girl over 18 with fake IDs and so forth, the "strict liability" law is in conflict with the rape law because technically she was raping the 23 year old man by claiming she was 18. It's a real law. It's called rape by fraud. The man consented to sex with an 18+ girl; he didn't consent to sex with an underage girl.

When you're dealing with someone who's that young and a crime that serious you don't come down hard and authoritarian, cos she'll just go silent and refuse to testify in any way. The best procedure is to go easy on her and have a quiet word with the authorities, at least that way there's a chance of getting her to admit slowly what happened & successfully prosecuting the rapist.

Who cares what a 15 or 13 or 16 year old girl wants? They don't have the capacity or right to make those decisions about having sex with an adult. and the adult has the moral and legal obligation to keep his hands off of young shildren. Why is it that television shows like NBC's Dateline get praise for running a sting operation looking for men trying to have sex with under aged girls but the college girls on your show got beat up for trying to keep Planned Parenthood honest? News shows, who are also "not the police", run sting operations all the time. I'm not condoning what the staffer did, but what you did is illegal. You can't tape someone w/o their consent in CA, let alone in a DR office, where there is a higher expectation of privacy/safey for the patients. Any first year law student knows that.The small amout of good your video produced is heavily outweighed by the benefit PP and similar agencies provide for this country. The actions of one staffer do not demonstrate or represent the actions and practices of the staffers as a whole.

It is to protect PATIENTS, not to protect medical practitioners who are victimizing their patients and committing & hiding felonies, as in this Planned Parenthood office.

What's more, if you think this sort of criminal behavior is not widespread in Planned Parenthood clinics, you are terribly naive. Why do you think the investigators were there?
